This is a joke! since last friday mine says. "request is currently being processed. This will take 48 hours after which you will be able to make a further repayment request if your account is in credit"
is this normal or?:mad::mad::mad::mad:0 -

Online help states 10 working days to process a repayment. But the recorded message on 0845 900 0444 states "currently taking 4 weeks"

Filed my tax return on 29 April and requested repayment to bank account. It kept saying 'not yet used' and I had to keep requesting payment on the website, after doing this 3 times I phoned HMRC on the 22 May to see what was happening and was told it was just going through security checks but she would email the relevant department to release it. It then changed to bank repayment pending on 25 May, today it says bank repayment issued 30 May so hopefully will be in my bank tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
It looks like it's taking an average of 3 weeks to 1 month to be issued, if you've been waiting longer I would suggest giving them a quick ring (not in the evening, the phone lines are clogged!) it looks to me like there's a glitch in the system and you have to qive them a little nudge;)0
