oooh what a lot of love going on here tonight - I find this thread useful because although I can't always post everyday I still try and read all the replies and often someone is going through my exact same situation!

YM - what a lovely thing to say about your family - you're all so lucky :)

I find it hard not to spend on other people - trying to make them happy I guess and a lot of the debt has been on presents and of course the children, who now hve far too much stuff!

was in my local paper today, someone on ebay is selling a nice, ripe fart in an airtight sandwich bag.then goes on to say that it was brewed on bank hol w/end after 5 pints guiness, pie and pies from a dodgy catering van,a kfc popcorn meal and a curry.i kid you not!!!!!
People bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with :)

    HI ALL:hello: :hello:
Havent been around in ages, but i hope everyone is ok!!????
nothing to report here, just that my DMP is going ok, but im going to change to an IVA once HSBC has sold my debt over to a DCA, i have to wait cause HSBC want 40p for every pound at the moment and that would make my monthly payment £289 which i can't afford!!! But if i wait then it will be £200 ish which i can just about manage!
At least in 5years or so it will all be gone then and not have to wait 11years.
Just a question does anyone know anything about getting a mortgage when your in our situation???
    Thanks lots
P.S hello to all the new people i havent spoke to yet!! I am glad you are finding the thread useful!
P.P.S Teecee thanks for helping keep the thread up to date, if you would like to i think i will pass all responsibility on to you cause im not around much anymore!!??? What you think!! LOL!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

IN an IVA situation, you can still get a mortgage - my mortgage advisor told me he'd just got someone a mortgage with an IVA (through london & county brokers- recommended by martin and my mum!) and so I assume the same is with a DMP. However, I would recommend buying for another 5 years as they can put charging orders on your house in the 4th year, which is quite common apparently. Of course I could be talking bollox!!
