hi all,
smile......think you deffo caught the chatterbox bug off me:rotfl: didnt take offence at your comments.since starting the dmp ill take anything thats free:D (except defaults and ccjs ,of course!!)
YM.....thank you for your compliment.im touched(yes and thats been said of me by alot of peeps, although i dont think they meant it in a nice way!!!:rotfl: )im really glad you think of me as "one of the essential members", iykwim:D
i am in 2 minds about the new site as im getting old and i dont like change.im always really envious of you lot who are comp savvy.(suppose im champion essay writer though, although smiles giving me a good run:rotfl: i will persevere with the site and hope i dont crash the comp!!
i still dont know if all my offers have been accepted and im not gonna fone to fnd out.m+s said they wouldnt accept but they keep sending the statements with cccs payment off and no interest so who knows?is ok with me.have noticed alot of them just take the payment,...re cap1 x2 and citi and lloyds and m+s.....some dont contact me at all.....solutions, and some go straight for the default...MINT CC, although dont know whats happening re mint loan, which is biggest at about 5 grand.
told DH about sometimes they put charge on home and he said they cant and i know they can, but he looked so shocked that i left it and just hope for the best.
ITS ONLY MONEY!!!!
think it was smile on about no ccs and must admit ,i find the same.always used to reach for the cc but cant now.it really brings home to me anyway, how useful they are but how reliant you can become on them, and how easy it is(or was!!)to keep getting credit.
have gone on long enough but if i think of owt else, i assure you ,ill be back.you know me sooo well.
take care.regards,xxPeople bring great joy into our lives..some by arriving, others by leaving.im trying to be one of the former, so please bear with

I really don't envy you guys with the smoking thing. It must be so hard. I can't give up chocolate and crisps, and they aren't nearly as addictive!
If they was to make choclate crisps as well as cheese and onion you could reduce your costs on the aforementioned items.:rotfl: :rotfl:

Thinking on my statement about how this site has helped me, i'm wondering if any of you out there didn't deal with the debts because of a feeling of isolation and shame. On this site no one judges, all members try to offer help and support and I have found that it makes me stronger as I draw strength from others and no longer feel alone!!DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL

Teecee I totally agree. I felt really ashamed and isolated
. My OH often says how come x, y and z can afford that but we can't and I wonder whether they can really afford it or whether they are in the same boat as we were before our LBM.

Earlier today I had a conversation with my friend about money (she has no idea about my debt but knows it's a struggle as a single parent)
I thought her and her OH were quite comfortable but it transpires that they only just manage, I think many people are just hovering on the edge, but hide it well.DEBTS @ 1/1/07 - £25,800:eek: DEBT @ 04/05/11 - NIL
