I think what has happened in this case is that they have refunded you very promptly for your spend, and the fee and expenses will follow in due course. They did this to me once when I had to buy a pair of shoes, but their paperwork (email or whatever, can't remember how they communicated) made it clear they were about to reimburse me for my purchase, then I got the fee/expenses later.
You're right. They sent me an email today saying they will pay interim payments to refund items costing more than £20 and then pay the fee and travel on payday. I'd never seen this before but its a great idea. So panic over!0 -
Has anyone else been invited to do Petrol Station audits? I followed the instructions in the email but its not showing in my list of available assignments. We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. Yes, I have, but I must admit I haven't followed the instructions in the email yet - just too busy....so I don't spose this is terribly helpful, sorry!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0 -

I know, I know, I'm being a hypocrite, BUT
GAP phoned me and offered me a meaty chunk (some financial meat) to do a burger job on Saturday and I accepted. When they do this does the premium payment show on the "my assignments" thing? It's not showing on mine and I am not doing the job with the normal pants payment!
Thanks for your help happy shoppers.0 -

It should show on your paper work, they don't always show in the My Assignments bit for some reason but it should be on the paper work somewhere something like £xx extra agreed.
They pay good money when they have too though, just shows the profit they make!!!Debt at highest May 04 - £65,639.22 - Started DMP with CCCS 1st June 04 & now self managed DMPDebt now 20th December 2015 £31677.13 Paid Off to date £33962.09 - just not going quickly enough!
Debt free date July 2024! I don't think so, it'll be going quicker than that!!!

I dont know about how good the money is... they wouldn't pay me £20 to go to Newcastle to audit a computer shop, it would have cost me anything up to £30 for a train ticket but I had 1 other visit I could do, so thought it would have been worth it...
GAP seem to love you when they need you but when you need help from them or you do anything not to the letter (I spent 19 minutes in a chicken shop instead of 20 mins because it was take out only and had a really long queue) they wont pay or respond to your emails!
Waste of time, onwards and upwards with better companies I say :-D
Preferably ones in this country that will answer calls for help! We’ve had to remove your signature because your opinion differs from ours. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why you can not have your own opinion on here and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

This is exactly how I feel - they love you when they need you is as I would describe it. I've made myself a promise that I'll only work for them if they're offering a premium and if the job is absolutely not going to inconvenince me....
I won't be madly selecting every pathetically paid job as soon as they come up in the future, just the ones that are worth doing
I was becoming neurotic before and watching their website all the time, accepting almost any job until I realised what a low rate per hour I was receiving, for eating horrible food!0
