Hi guys
Just to let you know one of the assignments I booked with BARE has turned up trumps and I will be doing my first assignment with them on Monday. Thanks for your advice on them.

On one I did in June it says 1 or 2 refillable drinks, so you should be ok & ok, you prob won't eat it all, but don't think it'd be unreasonable to order what they ask as one person - a starter, med pizza and salad with a drink? That's what was on my instructions. You can always dress smart and pretend you're on business and just popped in for lunch accompanied by a newspaper - preferably one with some money off coupons, obviously!
OK greed has the better of me so I just applied and my instructions say 1 or 2 drinks too! Thanks Josie. I'll be asking for a doggy bag too imoneyop!0 -
I have often done the 'order 2 meals' ones and pretended my partner was going to join me. I then have a (imaginary, one-sided) conversation with him on the mobile phone, where I make it obvious that he's been held up, and ask the place to put the 2nd helping in a doggy bag!Ex board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0

That is a great idea!

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems in the past regarding payment? I did an assignment recently where I should have been reimbursed £24.50 plus a £7 fee plus transport costs. I haven't received a payslip from them but just checking my bank balance ive found they've paid me the £24.50 but not the rest. I've emailed them to find out why but I received a thanks for the feedback and no indication that there was a problem so im a bit confused.
Also, assuming I don't get any further payment from them, what do I do about recording tax for this?0 -
Hi All
I've just done my first two mystery shopping assignments - both for the same firm but different branches. I'm not sure what to put for two of the questions and wondered if anyone can help. They ask to give reasons why you would recommend the bank branch to friends or family. I have an answer for one, but mind gone blank on the other. I hate questions like that, I'm ok with yes and no responses!
Thanks0 -
Well if you ginna answer yes just tell them why you liked being there and thats the same reason you would like to recomment i.e. customer service or product and if your answer is no just say why not? whatever was bad explaine it. Thats what i do.
I hope it helps.0 -

I love RM deeply - they pay well and their assignments are usually for really nice things (lovely food or great shopping!)
I think what has happened in this case is that they have refunded you very promptly for your spend, and the fee and expenses will follow in due course. They did this to me once when I had to buy a pair of shoes, but their paperwork (email or whatever, can't remember how they communicated) made it clear they were about to reimburse me for my purchase, then I got the fee/expenses later.Ex board guide.
