I have done a couple of jobs for grass roots. They sent me to Barclays bank both times and paid me £10 pounds for each job. They don't seem to pay any more then this.
Wouldn't reallt recommend them. Has anyone done any really interesting jobs and got paid reasonably for it?

£10 IS a good rate and dont forget you need to put some aside to pay the tax man;)
Grassroots IMHO are one of the better payers.
You get paid more for jobs where you have to have a credit check, repeat return visits, or make a video or audio recording.
Some companies sometimes offer you exit poll work and that would pay well too, like for major high street stores or cinemas.Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

£10 is excellent pay compared to Gap!0 -
I have done a fair few visits for them. They do a supermarket one where they pay £18 in total, but it takes a long time to do. They used to do a hobbies store, they paid you £10 for the visit, and reimbursement of £40 for a purchase you had to make. Someone from GR told me that I could take the product back and get a refund, and still get the reimbursement, so in essence I got £50 from it, if you know what I mean. I don't think they do the hobbies store anymore though. Other than that it's £10 for most visits. Sorry.GAP pay really bad, but if you pick a few different visits in one area and do them all on the same day, it can work out quite good.0

Still waiting for them to send me the "special equipment" I need to do the S***b**** coffee assignments though
Hi, is it invite only for the coffee place? I've not seen them available generally on Gap?0 -
Yeah it is - they have to give you special equipment to do it....
I've asked but they've ignored me!0 -

A couple of days ago I wrote about not being able to Log-in to GAP, it was saying "Login Failed". I rang the English number (on there main website) and the guy who answered was really nice, expained he was from account but said he would try and find out for me. I have not heard anything since but got an email today requested my "coffee" equipment back, even though I have a couple of assignments booked for them next week, so I'm assuming my GAP account has been shut down for some reason, which I am not happy about because Im expecting payment. Although the jobs do not pay much, if it was convienient to do it brought a few pennies in.
Has this happened to anybody else?? Or has anyone got any advice on what I can do in contacting the mysterious world that is GAP!!!!

If your account has been closed, this may be because you called their Basingstoke office; something they take massive offence to! They've issued warning after warning about this in the past as they don't actually TALK to mystery shoppers!! Grrrr....0

I,ve done a telephone shop job for bare. I couldnt get the guy in the shop to show me the phone I should have been shown as he said it just didnt fit my needs, said this on two occasions. I put this in my report and was questioned about it, I told them what the s/a said and that I felt an ordinary shopper wouldnt have pushed any more if told this twice. They said I had to go back, not going. Too much work for the money and I felt I had done my best to do the job without giving my m/s status away.:T:jDabbler in all things moneysaving.Master of none:o
