I have decided not to bother fighting the warranty any longer (you have all made pretty valid points and echo alot of what Ford have been saying) just sitting and awaiting the call to let me know how much money I have to part with. Thanks again for taking the time to comment and share opinions everyone has been more than helpful :)

I wouldn't give up that easy. I would still dispute the fact had the car been serviced on time, the parts used would not of stopped the problem from happening in the first place ....

I know. Several people keep telling me not to give up and the service would not have stopped this happening even another ford garage have said it is ridiculous and warranty should cover a mechanical fault but the person that mention voiding the warranty by not getting it serviced did have a valid point and Ford would stick to that. It has been a month already and still no further forward. I still think it was something smaller like oil cooler like first stated then they run the car or something and caused the "other" problem. Why would they say it was that then fix it and lie to me saying warranty never OKd that and then suddenly that is not what the problem was. I know they have been running and moving the car alot as its sat outside often and the other side of the large forecourt. I was told not to run it as would cause more damage so how come they are allowed to be driving it around? Im confused I feel stupid, I am stupid. I should know more about my car and cars in general I should understand. But I am sorry I dont and I know that sounds really ignorant. I don't feel I can fight it or have a leg to stand on any longer. I just want it fixed now lol

This! Taking it on will cost you nothing. Giving up could cost you a fortune. You have some good complaints to make and might get more of a goodwill gesture from Ford.

If Ford pay the parts and the garage sticks to their agreement to cover the labour you are ok!

Keep at it. The dealer isn't Ford remember!
What if there was no such thing as a rhetorical question?

I believe the "goodwill" gesture was cutting their labor by a certain %

Yes, but they will inflate the price of the parts to compensate this loss to them.

    Keep fighting.

    I do have another question...

Does the warranty work have to be carried out by the dealer that sold it?

or Can any Ford Garage do it?

.....they may well inflate the prices but you can always get a written quote for parts from another Ford dealer to check :D
