    How's you today hun?
I'm glad your appointment went well for you katie.:T You'll be helping your therapist soon.:D

You know angel, it's amazing what you can see if we just stop and look around us quietly for a while. There's a quiet joy in watching natural life imho.
I've never seen a suicidal sparrow!confused.gif:D Nature and the simplest forms of love can really put things in perspective sometimes.
    Have a good weekend hun.hug.gif

    Hi mac!:hello:
I hope you're feeling better angel.

quote=mclaren;my mood is so low, i dont even know if i am coming or going. Ive been workin basicly 24/7 for ages and ages (years), and its just got to breaking point. Ive been resting a bit the last day an dhalf but i feel so fcukung stressed, down, low and drained that i dont have a clue what i am doing.
I know what a difficult situation you're in angel.;) Don't let it get any lower sweetie - let's see what help there is for you to look at.

You have an awful lot on your plate hun and you need support both as a carer and as someone who needs help too. You're emotionally and physically exhausted angel.

I think you need to contact social services adult team asking for help an assessment too and also speak to your gp who can direct your options that you choose.
What you are feeling mac is completely natural in the circumstances.;) Anyone would be struggling hun.
Also try and find your local mental health advocate - they can make sure you're getting all the help you should and will support you in many ways.

I hope you don't mind hun, but I've put together a list of some website addys for you - or anyone else - to look at. I think it covers a wide range of situations angel and I hope it might help a little.

    http://www.depressionalliance.org/docs/community/links.html

Right now, i am thinking both things. one bad, one sane and good. I know i cant let the bad win, so i am trying to overpower that. its hard though.
You know there's always people passing through here with the kindness and heart to help hun.;)

Starting to realise a few things aswell, ive got nothing. i am just an empty person; a shell. Need to find the reason i am here but ive not found it and i have been huntiung the past 21 years./quote
You're not alone hun. You've said these negative things angel and you believe them to be accurate of your situation. When we're struggling, we don't always have an accurate perspective of our situations.
You have identified what you see as your problems mac - that's good because now you can take those small steps into solving them one at a time.
Don't give up hun. I think we've all felt like this in different degrees.
You don't need to find the reason you're here mac - you need to accept that you are here. It's not about finding a life imho, it's about creating one angel - and that puts you in charge.;)

I know you're having a hard time hun but you are a fighter.:T :A I think someone else professionally needs to help you out with your role as carer - there is nothing wrong with that angel. You're not neglecting your duties as you see them by getting extra help.

Nobody has the magic answers that we imagine they have - we all learn things as we go through life. We learn our lessons continuously hun, so please don't put any pressure on yourself by thinking you have to know all the answers now. They'll come to you one at a time, when the time is right. ;)

I think the most important now, is for you to get the extra help and support you deserve and need angel and to be proud of what you have managed so far. You're not empty mac - you're young and you have a heart, soul and mind to fill just like every other person. The way you feel is part of your ill health hun - so give yourself a break and be kind to yourself ok?;)

I hope this helps a little hun. Asking for help is so hard when you're low but it could be the starting point you need to be more content inside. Take care angel. You know where we all are are if you need us.hug.gif

    Hi guys!:hello:
Got to dash now, but I'm thinking of you all and hoping everyone is safe and sound.:A ;)
I can't believe I've nearly caught up finally!

So, in honour of that, and courtesy of the MSE Funny Joke Thread, here's another joke that I hope will give you a giggle and not offend anyone.;)
    I'm blushing already!:o  :rotfl:

Twin sisters in Sunnyside Nursing Home were turning 100 years old. The local newspaper sends a photographer to take pictures...

One of the twins was hard of hearing and the other could hear quite well. Once the photographer arrived he asked the sisters to sit on the sofa.

The deaf sister said to her twin, "WHAT DID HE SAY?"

"WE GOTTA SIT OVER THERE ON THE SOFA!", said the other.

"Now get a little closer together," said the cameraman.

    Again, "WHAT DID HE SAY?"

"HE SAYS SQUEEZE TOGETHER A LITTLE."

So they wiggled up close to each other.

"Just hold on for a bit longer, I've got to focus a little," said the photographer.

Yet again, "WHAT DID HE SAY?"

    "HE SAYS HE'S GONNA FOCUS!"

With a big grin the deaf twin shouted out, "OH MY GOD - BOTH OF US  :D

    Sorry guys!:o ;) Take care everyone.hug.gif

mclaren, Surely working all the hours that you do you are entitled to a number of weeks holiday a year? I can imagine that being a carer is a very rewarding job. It's a job that I know I couldn't do but I admire those who can. It requires a special type of person to be a carer :)

Make sure you get a Doctor's appointment :)

My brother is fine. The reason he was arrested was because back in Dec 2005 him and his friends apparently said to a black girl 'Hey girl, shake your booty' and it was classed as racial abuse. The outcome of it was that as it happened more than 6 months ago there was no action to be taken.

So basicly she said he was rasist? waht a joke! talk about this world going too PC! so after a year and a half of "investigating" - they decide to arrest him - wasting tax payers money and then TNFA. Little girl - 4 year old was knocked down and killed by a 4x4 in Edin a few days ago, only about 2 miles from me - that and other similer incidents should be priority - not some stupid pointless drunken throw away comment "shake that booty". What if it was a white lass he said it to; would they have nicked him for that? or told her that she was being silly and over reacting...... But yet again, they dont want to be classed as "rasist" or "taking sides" or "racial discrimination" now do they......

I got my appointment for next thursday, and as for time off - when i post on here, its my "time off"
Never do things tomorow when you can do them today.

    Good evening to everyone,

hope you all enjoying the weekend thus far,
    Karrie
yes indeed the charity shop is good for me ,it can be hilarious at times what with all the unusual types many of whom i end up getting indepth with offering all sorts of opinions and mostly send them away laughing with me (not at me i hope!). so it went well, people tell me i'm a dork for working for nothing and giving my time but generally i love it.

    Tiff
well i don't have a full time job as such,my field of work as it is(or was) is broad spectrum building trade, refurb work mainly which is all about problem solving.

alcohol is a tricky subject because i love it and hate it,i did spend many years
off my head on the stuff ie 10 pints beer with chasers plus bottle of spirits a day..crazy s**t i know, inside i wanted to die,but i'm still here new and improved! don't touch top shelf or wine these days but i am still a heavy drinker by most standards....watch this space.

Depression can cause havoc but i accept my depression, its there and i deal with it by looking it in the eye and mostly it don't kick my bottom like it used to.

About my son well i think at the mo he has other stuff to deal with like my daughters do cos their nan died yesterday and i know their mum will be in bits
and despite our history(ex and i) i cannot dislike her(anymore).

not sure i am a natural survivor but i am a survivor and for the last year or so i have felt i am living in the here and now, not in the past.

right i`m off to watch telly shortly(which is rare for me)2 programmes i watch are Dr Who and Holby Blue( yes i confess my sins!)

    you all take care now

    Kind regards
    Andy

Tiff, :rotfl: thanks for that :)

slowlyfading, It sounds like you are having a good time back at home with your Mum :) I hope you have a good time at the cinema. What are you going to see?

Katie, I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. Hope you've had a good day. Was it warm and sunny where you live today?

mclaren, Basically yes. IMO the whole arrest/situation seemed totally pointless. A waste of 4 police officers time. I agree that they should be attending to more serious issues.

    How are you feeling?
