I was wondering.... how do people feel about posting a photo of themselves? I love talking to you all, and it'd be nice to put a face to the names.. just an idea :) x x

I seem to live my life through my cat, so feel free to talk to him. His name is Mookee, or Poodle, depending on how formal I am feeling. Poodle sends lots of love x

HSM, how was school today? I sent a copy of that letter to the mental health support guy at uni, and got a reply saying he cannot help me, so to contact the Student Union?!! Needless to say, this has sent me on a massive downer.

Lots of love to everyone x

mclaren, Basically yes. IMO the whole arrest/situation seemed totally pointless. A waste of 4 police officers time. I agree that they should be attending to more serious issues.

    How are you feeling?

Well i have alot to catch up on - but here is the basics.

The past few weeks, ive been getting lower and lower. Went to GP and he was a bit reluctant to give me more meds - but he said that they might work, so put me on to trazodone. Still hasnt helped anxiaty which is out of control still.

Anyway - ive tried not to do anyting silly but i have attempted things since - thought about SH alot, done it twice.

Getting more and more annoyed with myself every day aswell - more i look at myself, more i get annoyed as all i see is a shell still. I am a shell of a man but i dont want to be, but i have no idea how to get out of the zone.

Now i am just sitting down - cant sleep at nights, cant sleep atall full stop!.

Dont know what to do really. Not been on here for a while, mainly cos i aint been 100% - i find when i come on here, i post too much, make other people feel :( and then it makes me feel worse overall.

Stress isnt helping! Roll on September when i can get a holiday!

    Hey people,

Cleaned the fish out and had a walk around the shops. Kinda made me feel down as it reminded me of being with the gf. Ended up in waterstones looking at all the books. Ended up looking at the depression/anxiety books, what a waste of time. They all look really boring, wish they had a book that was one page long describing the cure for depression/anxiety, the world would be a happier place. Just the thought of reading over 200 pages about depression/anxiety was enough to get me down.

I think the best way for me to get over this is to exercise and take the medication. Getting the motivation to do anything is gonna be the hardest part tho.
    Welcoem to the forum :)

Motivation is the hardest thing - i am in the same possision lol - but what you need to do, is do something you like. For me, its photography - i love it; and when i am with my camera, it takes my mind of everything else. THough, it also is good for if i go out. I can look in shops at all the gear, look at the prices, and find out i am a few thousand quid short lol.

Reading up on anxiaty and depression are bad ideas. Reason behind this is because it could easily trigger something off, or it could trigger off hypacondria.

I went to see my Doctor today and got sent straight to hospital. Had blood tests and everything came back OK. They tried to contact my social worker but she's away this week. They have got me an appointment at the mental health hospital tomorrow so yeah that's all that happened. The Doctor that I saw in hospital was very nice. She said herself that I really need some kind of help.
Good luck hun - we are all behind you :) Let me know how you get on :) x
