Rose, I am fine thanks :) Just watching LOTR 2 :D I have no words for you really, as I know exactly how you're feeling, but no words of support. I can only offer you comfort, and hugs. x

No¬! When people say chin up - it shouldn't make you feel like you are not up to much.... it means that THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND... that's all. BUT - there are plenty of people who DO understand how you feel - and to be honest it's them who you will get more sense out of on this subject!

I'm fine thanks Hun. I used to be really badly depressed, but I got through it. I saw this post and thought I'd tell you that - if it helps. I still have 'warning signs' - I've noticed i'm worse when I get tired. So I try to make sure that I get some 'me' time, and as i've said before the tapes help. Also it helps to eat certain foods like salmon - for some reason.

    Take care xxx

    Thanks

Yeah guess thats true. I find alot of people may not understand. Luckily i have friends that do understand, and some who can help me in a way. Which is good, just atm im havin a low time, circle of life eh? Yeah when i was in hospital i got alot of support from the people that were there too. And you find you learn more from them than from anyone.

I think its good that people post here that have got through things, as it gives the rest of us hope. So well done :T.

Interesting food choices, i love salmon :D

Im gonna go lie down, and watch a dvd to distract me from any harmfull thoughts, just need to choose one

Hi,not posted much lately but i keep up with the thread.I think salmon helps because of the omega 3 they did tests and aparently some peoples depression improved when they took omega 3,mackeral and pilcherds are good to and not as expensive as salmon.

No - but if you find out please let me know too!

Someone only has to look at me the wrong way and I burst into tears!

    That's how it feels anyway.

I had to have time off work sick a couple of years back as I couldn't stop crying. Just outbursts all of the time for no apparant reason, but the more frustrated I got at myself the worse it became.
I have been to the doctors for this but I don't want to be taking any sort of medication or anything.

I feel as if my quality of life could be so much better if I could just control my emotions. Just a little. I mean can it really be that hard?

    Apparantly. Yes.

    :(

I have the opposite problem can't or won't cry although i often feel down.It is years since i cried at all think it was when my marriage broke up,cried buckets then.Heck just realised that was 10 yrs ago! He died 4 yrs ago and i never shed a tear then although we were friends by that time.

Hi Rose, remember that is how you FEEL, not how you are.I have seen your photo and you are a lovely looking girl, definately Not fat or ugly, also i can tell from your posts you are a lovely person who has always got a kind word for people even when you are down yourself. It must be hard for you when your parents row as you love both of them .I wonder if they realise how bad it makes you feel, could you tell them?it might make them try and resolve their differances another way.
