I'd agree (and I don't like politics) but sadly i've now lost the remote.

    Re taking comments personally -
When someone makes an insenstive comment, or says something unkind, they PROBABLY don't realise that they are hurting you so much - especially if they are someone who doesn't take comments to heart themselves... they are probably so wrapped up in their own world that they don't realise the impact of what they have said.

If they DO mean to be horrible with their comments - then hey - they are like that to people and in general aren't very nice - so I try and take some comfort in that.

If it's any consolation - when you are feeling down then everything is a big deal, when you're not - you don't notice these things so much.

Hope this helps. and hope the sun shines for you soon

    :T Britney

I have about 50 Britney Video's that I have taped off TV. I've even been told to have counselling because my Britney 'obsession' is not normal as I live my life too much around her (apparently) yet it's the only thing that can cheer me up. I have to play her music and look on the internet every day - she is the main reason behind my 7k debt :rotfl: I should hate her for that, but then I look at her big brown eyes and I can't do it :rotfl:

It's nice to hear from someone who likes her too :T She's adoreable and she doesn't know it yet, but she's yet to meet Mr Right (ME!!!!!!!!!!!!) :rotfl:

Holby City? :o Never seen it.......but then sport/music aside (and a bit of CSI/Big Brother as flatmate watches them) I don't watch anything :T

I can't be doing with these drama/soaps etc - sometimes something comes along a bit interesting, but rarely :o

    Re: being sensitive.

When it's someone I care about (3 people in 15 years) I am very sensitive.

When it's someone else I don't know, I really don't care, i'm bigger than most of them anyway and wider, so people don't tend to make comments unless they can run :rotfl:

Guys, Just another thought re the sensitive thing... I have found some self hypnotic tapes on 'inner calm' , 'positive thinking' and 'self esteem' really helpful on this whole subject. I got them off Amazon (2nd hand) - you can prob get it on cd as well. When I have a wobbly moment (or day/week/month!) then I listen to them. I find that they really help me and that if I listen to them at night they help me fall asleep - which can only be a good thing! Hugs
