You're not even close to the end of these clown's mails. I've had these letters since 2011 and they are STILL coming. I'm actually on my second time round for them as I've already had the same ones previously.
Latest one that came 3 days ago was "We understand legal action is about to start". Problem is they said that 1 year ago and it didn't.
The threat of assessing goods, as mentioned above, I have also had and now had another one so I think it's now time to complain officially about this lot.

So did they? (Come and assess your goods that is). BTW, that's a rhetorical question, I already know the answer! :rotfl:Je suis Charlie.0 -
As suggested, I have written to various organisations and, so far, have had a couple of replies back from BPA. The first was just 'thank you for letter and we will investigate'.
Here is the second letter, which has more details and says that they have asked CPP to remove the text from their letters that threaten that debt collectors will come round to collect goods!
Let's see if they take any notice0 -

Trading Standards reckon a letter from a private firm with no credit agreement, or debt outstanding, or Court judgment, talking about someone visiting in person and 'assessing goods that could be removed by County Court bailiffs at a later date' ISN'T THREATENING?!
:eek:PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just revisited this thread I started way back and realise I didn't write any conclusion.
Well, I hope this isn't tempting fate, but, since my MP wrote to CPP I have not received any further correspondence.
May this is just coincidence, but, I LIKE IT!!!
Fingers crossed that's the end of the matter and others will take encouragement.

Thanks for coming back to update. It's never over until it's over, i.e. you receive written confirmation from the PPC that the charge is cancelled, or the six years, until any claim is barred by statute, have expired.
I'm not trying to pour cold water on things as it looks like they found you a bit too hot to handle given your involving of your MP and TS, but one thing just to keep an eye on is the result of the Beavis -v- ParkingEye Supreme Court appeal result, as a Beavis loss could trigger a blizzard of court claims across the entire PPC network. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.
