Hi, When TSB Bank is created, will Lloyds TSB name will change to Lloyds Bank or Lloyds Banking Group?
Looking online - it only says about the new TSB Bank but it does not mention of Lloyds Bank. Also branches near me which are changing to TSB has a temporary logo, The branches which are staying with LTSB still has the old logo.

It will become Lloyds Bank plc; it says so in the "Changes to terms and conditions" leaflet they sent out last month:

Sorry to come to this debate late, but I have just smelt the coffee to coin a phrase.
I live in the Channel Islands and will have no access to any tsb branches but I am slightly more restricted and can't change my account. Following some reckless behaviours in my youth I am still paying the price (rightly) with a poor credit rating. I have tried to change my account to ci lloyds but been rejected due to this....so as I read this am I completely stuck?
I know that it's not the same as many who find themselves away from their nearest branch because choice remains available to them although its a hassle to change and why should you - but the way I see it I have no where to turn short of getting a basic account without the visa debit option I rely on to buy things from amazon (since things are not readily available here without access to t'internet)
Any suggestions or advice would be gratefully received....0 -

But it's no longer the individual banks that are in the wrong, it's the banking industry as a whole." - Steven Cooper, head of personal and business banking at Barclays, talking to Martin Lewis0

There are plenty of other banks around, if Lloyds are not willing to offer you an account.
Most banks give a debit card on their basic bank account.
Thanks but I guess what I'm saying is due to my current credit rating I have no other choice but to stick with whomever I am assigned to. It's the lack of choice I lament!0 -

Basic bank accounts tend to provide Visa debit cards, and have no credit rating requirements (unless you are currently an undischarged bankrupt).0 -
delerium: My husband & I have both opened bank a/cs with LloydsTSB. I managed to get the Classic Vantage a/c but he was only able to get a Basic a/c. His card is a Visa Debit which allows him to buy things on the internet, I checked the leaflet which came with it (if you do open a basic a/c with Lloyds, when your card arrives and the top half is sky blue and has Debit under the Visa symbol in bottom right corner you can use it for online buying. The only downside is the restrictions on which ATM's you can use to withdraw cash, these are LloydsTSB, Halifax & Bank of Scotland.
Hope this helps.
There's a notice in our local branch saying that it's staying as a Lloyds so we're not affected by the split (branch was a Lloyds before the merge).0 -
Lloyds Bank will have an updated horse logo like the group logo and the branches be green.
TSB Bank will have a modified version of old TSB logo and the branches will be blue
The blue/green old LloydsTSB logo will be retired after the split.
Hope that helpsHi, When TSB Bank is created, will Lloyds TSB name will change to Lloyds Bank or Lloyds Banking Group?
