a friend has just told me that La rochelle is near to this theme park:

    http://www.futuroscope.com/eng/attraction.php

you can use tesco vouchers there too!!

I went to this theme park around 3-4 years ago.

To be honest I didn't think it was very good (all the rides were pretty much the same, e.g. simulators like the Back to the Future ride at Universal) and it was quite expensive to get in.

Obviously no offence is meant to yourself, Spaggy, and it may have changed since then, but just thought I'd stick my 2 cents in.
    Nice to save.

btw is there anywhere on terms and conditions that i missed out that they sneakly put in, like penalty for not turning up or anything??

not that im booking it for sake of it but im abit worried about not making it to airport in time for my return sector, in which case im thinking of booking another flight of next morning. but i dont want to take advantage of such a good offer like that and waste that one flight someone else could have had! cheers

Just booked 4 flights to Rochelle 22 August to 28 August for 8p.......anyone been there, hoping to take a tent and camp near a beach somewhere with 2 children.........can't wait.:j
There's one campsite quite close to La Rochelle town BUT Il de Re island is a short bus ride away, has several campsites and is a paradise for families, with it's cycle tracks, limited roads, vineyards, oyster farms and gorgeous beaches. it's an up-and-coming Parisian getaway.

Thats ok, its good to hear about other peoples experiences.. If we do go I will make sure we use tesco vouchers to make it cheaper and then wont be so bad if its not that good!

i need to go from Manchester to London so Im now going via Dublin just for sake of saving money and paying 2p + 2cents lmao!
That is SO environmentally unfriendly!!! But then I don't live in east England so if the polar icecap melts and the whole area floods I won't be affected!! Wahoo :)

  • For anyone who has booked and forgotten to write down your confirmation number................

I just checked my bank statement and its shown as ryanair000000abc123 followed by the amount the flights cost ie. it shows your booking reference where I have put abc123.
I can also confirm that I wasn't charged a debit card handling fee. 9 of us going to Dublin for my sons birthday for a grand total of 18p.

I also saw somewhere that they will refund the 1p the flight cost when you check in-so they are totally free. It's something to do with a technicality that they have to charge the penny when making the booking.

I just booked the wrong date, would I be charged to cancel and how would I cancel the flight, I don't mind loosing out 4p but don't want to hold seats that someone else can use.
No reliance should be placed on the above.

no card fee on the maestro, it really was 8p

Hi, could you please tell me about being uncharged for maestro? I tried and saw from the web says 0.70 pound per flight per person. Many thanks.
