How comes I can get free taxes on a flight in october half term (22-26th October)? I thought all school holidays were excluded?

I don't know, but good for you. Maybe that isn't the national half term? The week did seem to differ around the country when I was a pupil (only about 4 years ago ;))
  • La Rochelle seems to have a shorter blackout. My return flight was during the summer blackout at the front end, so that would make sense I suppose... On the other hand, the details listed on the site are exactly the same.
    *looks at his booking*
FYI, despite the rules on the site, it seems there are there are 1p outward flights to LRH on Fridays, and at times during the blackout. I think that for these you have to pay the 1p ticket cost plus the card charge, if you're not using electron, whereas the flights people are getting without a card charge seem to be entirely free, as advertised on the front page!

That makes sense because although my tickets were 8p i had to pay the
£5.xx charge to use my bank card..........still bargain price though for August...

Pls someone recommend a good 1 p destination apart from Brussels and Dublin.
Never heard of La Rochelle and Vitoria. Any good?
  • Similar areas - La Rochelle is south west France (coastal + beaches) while Vitoria is northern Spain - near Bilbao. It's about 40-50 miles from the sea. Never been to either, but La Rochelle is by all accounts very nice.
