    Thanks OP,
Just booked 2 return flights to Dublin for an overnight stay for OH birthday @ 4p!

We booked ours with a debit card and just checked our online banking which shows the 4p hasn't been debited.
We've recieved our email containing the confirmation #.
When we've booked in the past the money has come straight out of the account.
I'm guessing, as this promotion is stated as giving away a million free seats, that the 0.01 flights will not be charged and we do indeed get the flights for free.

Has anyone else noticed that no debit has been made from their account?

    Moneysaving to the extreme :j
  • I think there might be two separate offers on here. The 1p flights including taxes are advertised on the front page, so that is clearly an offer - some people (myself included, on one of my bookings) have been charged 1p/flight and a debit card charge of 70p/flight (maestro). That was detailed on the receipt, and I expect it to come out of my account. The others were just listed as 1p without a charge, so I assume nothing will be taken from my account, and that these are part of the million free seats offer.
I'm not sure how you can tell the difference without going right through to booking, but if anyone can figure it out, it would be great to know. I was charged to La Rochelle, 13th-17th July, but not to Milan or Turin, both in September. Lets see if we can figure out a pattern...

I have joined this forum tonight because I cannot find any flights with Ryanair that do not include taxes. I have tried flights from Bristol and Bournemouth and although the 0.1p fares come up when I go to confirm there are taxes of £36 added, where am I going wrong?

Don't worry, I had the same problem at 1st.
The 0.1p fare are only valid Monday - Thursday.

    Booking Period: Wed 16th May 07 - Mon 21st May 07
    Travel Period: Sat 02nd Jun 07 - Sat 27th Oct 07
    Applicable Days: Mon - Thurs
    Subject To Availability
Flight must be purchased: 14 Days in advance
    Blackout Period: 16th Jul '07 - 31st Aug '07
Notes on this fare: All Holidays, School Breaks and Major Sporting Events are excluded from this offer
  • You need flights on routes listed in post 3 of the first page of this thread, between the 2nd June-16th July or 31st August-27th October. You're looking for flights listed as 1p, and listed as Reg Fare, not Web Fare.

the posts about the bus tickets into Dublin are really useful - is it possible to start another thread where people can post such information on travel from airports to cities, hotels etc. for people who have booked flights through this 2p offer?

  • Hi!
Thanks OP for this! DH & I going to Dublin for his 30th birthday (1 night, so leaving kids with Grandma!), and its a surprise for him!!!
Booked the priority/web check-in and wonder if anyone can tell me,
....when checking in on-line and printing out the boarding passes, can this be done for the return flight, at the same time as the outgoing?!

Also, naive, I know, but can you buy from Duty Free shop in airport on way out?!

    Thanks in advance!!!!
