    Thanks for the help.

Ok so i've now got my return flights to Oslo sorted.

With regards to the buggage it asks how many bags do i have to check in? do i get any allowance free?

    Thanks again
  • just found some 1p flights but the infants fare is £7. Would it matter if i book him in as a child he's 16 months, thanks
No idea, sorry - give them a call? (don't forget to share with the class)

You have to pay for any bags you check in (£5 per bag each way if you do it online, £10 each way if you do it at the airport). You are allowed 1 free item of hand luggage per person, measuring no larger than 55x40x20cm.

You need photo ID for Southern Ireland, not necessarily a passport, if you are coming from Britain.

When did that come in, as a matter of interest? When I was a child , I regularly went there, and nobody in the family had photo ID or passport. I havent been since 1990 though . . . .

Does anyone buy the travel insurance (£5)? Is it necessary? I'm a foreigner who have a visa to stay in U.K. until Jan 2008. Do I need to apply for Visa to entry Dublin?

    Thanks for any suggestion.

Does anyone know whether the whole party on the booking would have to show up for the flight or will it still be valid if some are missing.
The reason for the question is that I have booked for my parents to go with me & my OH to Oslo but not sure on whether or not they could make it for that particular date. Thanks in advance for your help.
Do I want it? ......Do I need it? ......What would happen if I don't buy it??????
  • There shouldn't be a problem with one or more people not turning up and the rest of you flying, but always read the Ts & Cs!

when I leave it as showing 'how many bags to check in' at the end of the booking it is asking me how many bags do I have and wants me to go back and change it!
