And her initial advice was to call Gwent Police to speak to the officer in question at the times he indicated he was available. Wow over 800 stolen handbags worth around £150 per one I expect, that was a very big operation thank God they have the perpetrators !0

800 stolen handbags?? You hear of a few but never as much as this crime spree.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

Was the seller called Deborah Lamb by any chance?

I could understand if these were Coach or Mulberry bags, but Radley? Yes there are expensive models but £100 is about average in comparison to £1,000 on a Mulberry.
Added to that there is a reasonable trade in fake Radley so I'm somewhat surprised to see 'stolen' rather than 'fake'.0 -

As some are concerned about the e-mail being legitimate please contact me on my number tel xxxxxxxxxuntil 6pm and after 2pm tomorrow.
Almost certainly a phishing scam with fake contact details that WILL get you through to someone but it won't be at a police force office.
Ring the actual police force on their direct number on their website and ask them if this is genuine.0 -
Right I've called Gwent Police (getting their number from their website) and they have confirmed that's its all genuine.
So I will send the details in, just hope I'm not called as a witness as South Wales is a long way from home!£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Most surprised.
I've rarely got a legitimate email containing an exclamation mark...much less one from the police
