That is sad but in many ways it is a mercy for her given her health.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

May she go to a better place than the one she leftI think I saw you in an ice cream parlour
Drinking milk shakes, cold and long
Smiling and waving and looking so fine0 -
Sad day whatever your political leanings.
Although with the way her health had gone i suspect, as already stated, a merciful ending.0 -

I will not be hypocritical and say I think its a tragic loss to the Nation and will not be watching the State Funeral.
Her premiership created the culture of selfishness that still pervades this country.
I do agree it was sad that she suffered in her later years but so do many others.Few people are capable of expressing with equanimity opinions which differ from the prejudices of their social environment. Most people are incapable of forming such opinions.0 -

That's sad news. She was a strong leader whose influence we still see today, and an inspiration to many.If you will the end, you must will the means.0

One strong, couragous fantastic woman. Very sad that her downfall in politics was due to one of the best ideas she had - a set tax that was the same regardless of age, sex wealth or status.0
