ALL the washing I washed today is dried and ironed. Also been to A**a because I CBA to do the roast so I didn't defrost the joint. Made mash, roast chicken breast (one each for us and one for me, with salad, for lunch tomorrow;)) and a HUGE dish of broccoli and cauliflower cheese which has ALL gone  there are only the three of us. In keeping with my sig I bought some whoopsied pork mince, have cooked it up with carrots and onion and, having made extra mash just now I have the fixings for two shephers spies. S'pose they ought to be swineherds pies, really :rotfl: so one for tomorrow's tea and one for the freezer!
I also got whoopsied satsumas, crumpets and a huge bag of red onions.

Hi all.
Had another busy weekend with visitors, but have been chilling out most of today! After our guests left (yesterday) we had a tidy and S&S round, did 2 x WM, filled the DW, then got in a shop for the rest of the weekend.
I got everything dried and put away without the need for ironing, and this morning washed the cat blankets and made 2 x SC meals that are now bubbling away!
This afternoon I've been chilling out! It's been relaxing and I've read loads of mags and got ideas for cooking, decorating and the garden!!
Good health vibes to all those feeling poorly and 'Happy birthday' to all those flyladies who've been celebrating this week. Hello to any newbies or returning flyladies and here are plenty of sticks and spoons for anyone to grab.
Bossymoo, your pics were lovely! And Skint, I hope you soon feel much stronger.
Good wishes all round, R x0 -
If I'm not online tomorrow, please don't fret about me; Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, and I have a lot of cooking to do - bread, a lasagne for tomorrow's and Tuesday's dins, a cherry crumble, and a cake for Mr LW's lunch box. I'm going to use Valli's lemon drizzle cake recipe, but use limes, as I have some I got cheap on the market.:o
TTFN:wave:
If I was catering Maggie's funeral I would make Grantham Gingerbreads; they are on my liist of recipes to resurrect!
Chicken for my lunch now boxed and in fridge. 'Somebody' wishes it was 'in cat' :rotfl:
Two shepherd spies assembled. I need more potato for one, so it will go in the freezer until I have more mash leftover. I will just keep 'topping it up';)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

DH is cementing in the new washing pole. We have 8 frogs in the pond going at each other big time. Two have spawned. The croaking is amazing and they all seem to have different personalities.
Honey thanks. I have cleared the site with DS2's help and planted it with a load of forget-me-knots I had in seed trays from self seeds last autumn. They can stay there whilst the soil settles then I'll see what to do, it needs to be something tough to withstand the odd car wheel of edge of the mower.
Ouch, that must be nature's way of telling you not to do ironing. Hope it gets well after a light evening of rest.
We have quite a bit of frog spawn from a few weeks ago, but it's frozen several times so I don't know if anything will hatch out.
If you want some dwarf lavenders, let me know - I sowed a whole packet of seeds a year or so ago and they all came up. I've still got a few homeless ones. Or we might just have to hit VH.....if we borrow my OH's membership card as well we can both have free coffee and 10% off plants.........Remember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.0 -
Is Molly41 around? Or any other midwives?
DD has to research the monitoring of fetal devlopment and the devloping infant for a level biology - we're getting published papers as hits which is probably too complex.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Try this, Valli - and all the following pages

Also has links to related pages on ultrasound and other checks and screening tests.0 -
Thanks for that Ionafan - lol - they want me to register for pregnancy and baby emails. Page duly bookmarked.
There's a thesaurus on word! Who knew?
(By the time I have finished 'supporting' I bet I could pass the exam (with a low grade, obviously;))
lemon drizzle cake is now drizzled all over.

Decided to do the ironing. All done and I'm just a bit sore.
Time for a cuppa now and to fix the roman blind. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -
