  • Good afternoon everyone. Today I have been busy sorting out paperwork related things and I have managed to:

Make a list of decluttering and decorating that needs to be done in the house and outside.
Organised my diary for next and made to do lists
    Done 2 loads of washing
Phoned my mum to catch up using my free minutes

I'm going to start an hour of flying at 16:30 and I am aiming to:

Do some of the ironing basket
Dust the living room and clean the mantle
    Do another load of washing
    Declutter the living room
    Make the dinner
Dust the master bedroom for cobwebs
Organise clothes, PE kits and bags for Monday

If I get everything done I am going to have an evening online with some retail therapy and buy some much needed clothes, book a holiday (found one that I fancy just need to discuss it with DH when it gets in from work). Tonight I will also do some course work and write out some more of the recipes (seems like a lot of hard work but cheaper than buying all of the books).

Hope everyone is having a good Saturday, hugs to those that need them x

I fell off the flying wagon again this week. I will do 2 x HHC now to get things presentable downstairs and then cook dinner. Meatballs tonight.

    4.30 to 5.30 HHC x 2. off I go!

  • We've had rain most of the day here. Everything is soggy.

 _party_ Happy Birthday Narc0lepsy  _party_

Apart from Monday - which was my birthday :p - I've been mostly working and lurking this week, with intermittent flying. I desperately want to get curtains washed but will have to wait for a nice clear day *checks weather forecast for bumpkin-land* oooh tomorrow and Monday look good :j

I need to empty the TD and set off the DW. DD has eaten the leftover bolognese I was saving for her supper so I'll have to see what else I can rustle up - maybe a sandwich as that was what she should have eaten at lunchtime!

Love, hugs, sticks, spoons, kicks up the backside etc as required xx

    Happy birthday narcolepsy x

Bit of a sewing day today. Kiddies home early and taken to football. Aww, DD did really well, even after a 3 week break. DS is still 'spectating'.

So I've made DD a dress sorry its a fuzzy pic...

and then out of a cheapy duvet I've made a table-cover-!!!-den-tent and they've had supper under the table in their little house. <oh my it's bleeped me lol>

DS has asked if he can have daddy's doorbell for his "house". When DH was poorly, we stuck one of those wireless doorbell things in the dining room (made into bedroom) where the button was on the wall right by his side and I'd carry the chime around in my pocket, that way he didn't have to shout for me (which was getting impossible anyway as the tumours affected the control of his voice box too :() anyway, I digress. The button stayed on the wall for months after and the kiddies used to ring it for fun, until I decorated. And it's been sat under the biscuit tin ever since.

So, I think I'll dig it out and somehow attach it to the table leg. I need to make a little door and add buttons and some elastic hoops inside so they can have it open or closed. I'll do another pic later when it's done :D

Those little monkeys get all sorts of fun things!

Suffice it to say I have done bog-all flying all week, thanks to paid stuff, decorating and sewing. But I did put a wash on today, and we have food and clean dishes...

Bossy that's lovely and littlest Moo looks so thrilled.

Many years ago I bought a clothkits pattern from a jumble sale and made it up ( a dress for DD) I still have it; she loved it and I think she especially loved that I had made it for her. (I'm not a fantastic crafter;))

Happy memories and the little moo and littlest moo sound/look like they're building a store of them, too!

I think it might be time to have a week off "doing stuff"...

Although, tomorrow, we may (assuming we are up as early as usual) go to carboot, the throw I bought last week (trader not booter) is lush and I want one to match for other sofa... And DS still wants a toy garage.

Other than that, lazy day (yeah right)

Bossy you are so 'crafty' and clever

    Narco Happy Birthday

Bit of a BD following me around of late (not like me really so not got much experience of getting rid). It's making me find it really difficult to make decisions - is that normal? That is then stressing me more. Off to bed now to switch off with my book.

See you all tomorrow and I hope the weather men don't change their minds over night and take away the warmth and sunshine they have been promising me.

Hi, and welcome. I've never used them, microfibre cloths all the way here. Packs of 4 from pound shop ;)

Thanks for the welcome :)

It was a QVC presentation that I was watching (late one insomniac night!) about microfibre cloths that made me wonder if indeed the FL rags were microfibre...so thank you! :)
