Girls coats all in the wash.. this is why you should buy everyone coats in very similar colours so they can all be washed together.. and now I just remembered I didn't put mine in!!! GGGRRRRRRR... guess it is a good excuse to change my bedsheets as they will go in the wash together
Girls bathed and washed...Now the difficult bit.. getting the stinky boys in the bath!
Another load out on the line.. I need one of those baskets on wheels so I can get the laundry outside while relying on my crutches because it is killing me carrying a stack of laundry. half the stuff that was out is now folded ready to go away, it dried very nicely! LOTS of towel out there.. there were about 3 left in the drawers!
Ikea delivery coming Thursday so #I need to find time and energy and a less painful amount of time to clear space in the baby room so the futon can go in there (for odd occasions we have someone stay over or OH needs to get Squeak in bed with him, she wakes Dot if she comes in with us.. she rarely wakes though thankfully)
Dot fell asleep in her lunch again so is flat out on the sofa.. we have discovered if she goes to bed for a nap she will sleep all day and not at night, if she naps on the sofa she is awake after about half an hour and sleeps on a night and doesn't scream from 4pm until we put her to bed if she misses her nap entirely!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh.. OH is clearing up in the kitchen where Squeak spilled a bottle of lemon squash, emptied a box of cereal into it and some bread!.... She has trotted upstairs and made unknown amounts of mess in the bathroom.. she smells lovely!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Dusty I hope the BD has waddled off into the sunset by now, but just in case it hasn't, a little tip from a veteran of BD-induced indecisiveness:
Toss a coin.
Don't laugh, I'm actually serious - if you have a decision you need to make, and you simply can't make it because the BD is in the way, toss a coin; your reaction on seeing what the coin tells you to do will tell you what your heart really wants to do.:o
It also works for multiple-choice decisions, but you need to use something other than a coin - a six-sided die from a childrens' game will work.
As Mr LW and I still have all our Dungeons And Dragons stuff, we have 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 20 sided dice, but it's not often you need to choose between 20 different options.:rotfl:If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Fingers crossed washing machine is okay!
More washing in - sheet to be redone - I'm crossing everything that the marks come out!
I had to go on-line to find how to clean the filter - 'blushes' and whilst I was reading the manual (Miele - god love 'em - the instructions are very simple) I noticed that they had said that washing powder contains bleaching agents that liquid doesn't have. So in desperation have just been to local Sainsbugs to find suitable powder - and hey ho I found some Napisan too.
Washing up decluttered - DH out at cricket nets, DD2 out with b/f. DD1 has cancelled seeing her mate - she feels queasy. I do hope she is alright!
Now - a cup of tea and a bit of NCIS I think.
It is blowing a gale here - but next door but one are having a BBQ!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -
I have just fallen out of a make shift hammock which broke, really hurt my right shoulder. That is the end of the day's gardening and will mean no ironing tonight. So cross with myself.
DH is cementing in the new washing pole. We have 8 frogs in the pond going at each other big time. Two have spawned. The croaking is amazing and they all seem to have different personalities.
Honey thanks. I have cleared the site with DS2's help and planted it with a load of forget-me-knots I had in seed trays from self seeds last autumn. They can stay there whilst the soil settles then I'll see what to do, it needs to be something tough to withstand the odd car wheel of edge of the mower. Do you need MrM WK2 - PM box full.

Daisy welcome back
Thanks for the offer, Dusty, but since my two people didn't turn up in January/February and one person from abroad is having visa problems delaying her arrival, I'm so broke I can't afford to spend anything much at Mr M. We're living out of the freezer for the next few weeks. Kind thought and much appreciated.
Ditto to Daisy, even though we've never 'met.'Better is good enough.0 -
Oh dear Dusty I hope you haven't done any major damage.:( Perhaps the Universe is telling you to forget doing any more work today, put your feet up with a favourite CD or DVD or something, and have a time-out.:o
Normally Mr LW does the ironing on a Sunday; but as he's tied to the work laptop today, it looks like I'll have to attempt it,:( so I shall sign off now, and see if he'll put the ironing board up for me (can't lift it myself).
If I'm not online tomorrow, please don't fret about me; Mr LW is wfh tomorrow, and I have a lot of cooking to do - bread, a lasagne for tomorrow's and Tuesday's dins, a cherry crumble, and a cake for Mr LW's lunch box. I'm going to use Valli's lemon drizzle cake recipe, but use limes, as I have some I got cheap on the market.:o

Coats now out on the line and the TD refed, I even managed to fold one load
Slurped my cuppa..
OH got carried away and mopped all the kitchen
Starting to look like it might rain very soon so I am keeping a close eye on the sky.
I have about 3 more loads of washing to do before the kitchen is emptied of laundry.. then I get to sort through mess, though TBH I am seriously considering just bagging it up and dealing with it at some point in the distant future.. it is so awful looking at it I just can't bring myself to work through it all.
Sink bleached after OH washed the floor and left all the floor dirt in it. He has also loaded the DW twice.. I REALLY need to get the vacuum out though the floors are a bit :eek:LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
