    You lot are brilliant

We have a constant problem of dog poo (never catch the culprits)on the pavement in front of our garden. I usually get upset and get the kids to avoid it until it goes. Today I put multiple nappy sacks on my hand and picked it all up. Dumped in a bin bag and took it to the tip (was going anyway). I feel much better than I usually do.

Dinner eaten and cleared away. DH work jumper is in the WM.

    Grocery order is next.

Right tea is eaten and kitchen is cleared (except for the drying up but I don't believe in drying up so it will 'air dry')

OH is out of bed so I'm about to rush in there quickly and change the bed etc etc

    laters

For the first time in *blushes* 2 months I am up to date with my bank account - now done receipts from purse and have tallied with latest statement and everything.

The frog just kept getting bigger -

    now gulped right down.

    Living room is clean, too.

Well done on doing a vile task. It's not pleasant, and it really is one of my bugbears - if you get it on wheelchair wheels, it inevitably gets on hands and sleeves as well, if you are self-propelling your chair._pale_:mad:

Do any of the dog-owners here feel the same as me, that it's not quite as bad if it's from your own dog? (Or in my case, my current guest). I don't know why this should be, I'm sure it's purely psychological.:o There, that's a long word for a Wednesday evening!:D

Mr LW is kindly prepping some veggies for tomorrow's dins, to save my fingers.:A He's also making a cup of tea for us both.:A I suspect my next couple of hours will be tied up playing Skyrim.:o

Mary is currently snoozing - it sure is a dog's life!:D

    Evening all

DH and DS2 are back from their snowboarding trip, with a lot of washing. DS2 seems to have had a good time but is very tired (and did say he prefers holidays when we are all there)

WM on, kitchen half tidy, DS2's bed made.

I'll just do the list then get DS3 to bed and catch up on last night's Dallas before calling it a night.

Flying - mainly been gardening this afternoon, ok only been gardening this afternoon :p

Weirdly I felt the same when I cleared up the unmentionable thing from shared path on Saturday. One of my failings/quirks is that I over think everything . I'm not as bad as I was (I'm not as crippled by it) but sometimes I over-think, upset myself, stress myself, rather than just getting on with it.

I do this with my running.

Have been to give blood tonight. I've given blood for the last 11 years but it is more important to me as late OH (that is reason I get cross with myself for sweating the small things. Life is too short and I've learnt that the hard way! But still lapse and get caught up in the petty stuff) had blood transfusions that made him feel so much better and gave colour back to his cheeks.

Thank you to anyone who is a blood donor, the way you make someone so poorly feel better is priceless.

Froddington - I guess your pleased that the fans have been able to buy Fratton Park? and take Pompey out of administration.
Macpep - congratulations on your DH's new job
ionafan - I had difficulty before I found my house, but I love, love, love my house and wouldn't have found it if the 1st house I'd put an offer on had accepted. The right house is out there for you.

    Flying wise

Well done deco. I need to get back on the blood register actually. They took me off when I was expecting DS and you can't for a year after, by then I was expecting DD. and then when she was a year old, well, you know what happened next as you've been there too (hugs). And here I am nearly a year and a half later and still haven't called them to start going again.

But like you, I know close-up the benefit that patients get from transfusions.

    (((hugs))) to you too bossy

You've been raising 2 children and helping them through this difficult time as well as looking after yourself. That is more important than donating blood IMHO.

Actually when OH was in hospital for the final time, I really wanted to 'pay it forward' so went to donate. Managed to faint on my way to the biscuit table :o. My first comment was 'can you still use my donation' - the answer (thankfully) was yes.
