    Hi All :hello:

Never got around to posting yesterday, day flew in at work then I was busy flying last night & trying to de-clutter what was sky+’ed. After my DH never got the last job with the railway company, he was away for an interview with another company (who called him & asked if he could attend an interview, he had missed the closing date for applications) he got a call the other day saying he was going to be offered a job subject to disclosure check, references & medical, :j he was like a pig in muck on Monday night, I am so pleased for him. He has to be away from home for a week for induction & no idea how his shift pattern will be, only hope it doesn’t affect my working pattern too much. My little cousins 18th Birthday today, we were invited to go for meal at Indian Buffet but my kids don’t eat Indian food so would have been a waste, we are just going to meet up at the house later for tea & cake, although I will be refusing cake

Narcoouch, not a good look for your birthday at all
Boddy – That’s awful, what makes people do things like that, when I was pregnant, people thought it was ok just to come and touch my bump!!! Freaks me out when people invade my personal space.
    SkintBig hugs for you x

I use a butter knife to open the drawer. PUT A THIN DISH UNDERNEATH BEFORE TURNING THE CAP this is where the water will come out. Turn slowly as a lot may come out so you may need to empty the dish before removing completely. It may be grey, sludgy and smelly in there

Thanks Dusty - I'll pass the info on ... sounds  especially as I didn't realise there was a filter to clean and it has therefore never been done!!!!

Macpep, that is brilliant news :D
I hope everything turns out well for you all :T:T

Pleased to say my DH is settling down to his enforced retirement quite well. His employers have generously told him he can have a retirement gift... worth about £25. He has to choose from a catalogue which is designed more for boy racers than unfit middle-aged men :rotfl:

    .

I do this job as I am about to put a towel wash on - I 'wriggle' the towel beneath the washer. All the water then hits the towel and is smoothly flicked into the WM;)

DD and I have done the gerbil cages - we each have one, so two cages, but we (very efficiently;)) do the same jobs each twice, so they get done VERY quickly. I also washed the cat litter tray - bin day tomorrow!

I have vacuumed up a HUGE (well it was if you're scared of them) spider for DD. She has cleaned her room.

I HAVE EMPTIED MY RECEIPT BOX - receipts which don't need to be retained are shredded!

And lunch was reduced sweet & sour sauce (from the Asda sell off last year) with half price (yellow stickered) pork chops diced...nyom...and rice.

    Hello!

Just stopping by to wave

Painted half the hall woodwork last night. Will do rest tonight. About to dunk tots in bath. Went to wilco to buy paint, also got small adhesive hooks. Have used them inside my pan cupboard door, in pairs, set at an angle to each other. My pan lids slot into them, instead of jumping out on me :T:T:T
