Well I didn't have a very productive day today, as I just could not get myself motivated.

    Today I managed to:
Vacuumed through the living room and hall
    Spent HH sorting though paperwork
Changed the lightbulbs throughout the house and put in energy saving ones
Made some soup, bread and a lemon sponge
Took a box of unwanted things to the recycling tip
Done a couple of loads of washing and got it hung outside but didn't dry so is now hung on the airer
Signed form for the dentist and handed it back in
Went to Aldi but didn't actually get very much, as they didn't have much of what I was needing
Dusted the living room, hall and porch for cobwebs

My plan of action for Wednesday is
Clear the mantle in the living room and give it a good clean
Clean the glass doors in the display cabinet and clean the tv screen
    Quick clean in the bathroom
Do some of the ironing pile and put clothes away
Plant some of the vegetable and herbs seeds
    Do some of the laundry
Clean and sort through the drawers in the kitchen
Clean the drawer and filter in the wm
    Spend HH sorting through recipes
Dust the front doors and clean the glass
Spend HH decluttering the living room
    Dust the living room
Strip the master bed linen and wash and replace
Clear the master bedroom floor and hoover
Dust the master bedroom for cobwebs
Do any mending, sew on buttons etc
    Have some me time
Sort out your summer tops in hope of some nice weather (they say maybe this weekend, fingers crossed, and toes, and legs - oh no now you can't fly)
Check the shopping list and do online shop
Spend HH decluttering the master bedroom

mumto5 you have my sympathy and understanding, its part of our job as a mum sometimes that we are the one they lash out against when they start growing up and testing thier boundaries. we get a mouthful of stuff (they dont really mean) that they wouldnt dream of saying to anyone else and its probably not even anything to do with us- we are the safety valve they blow up against sometimes. It doesnt make it hurt any less and its hard not to lash back sometimes. hugs for you and i hope the check up re the operation goes ok and puts everyones minds at ease.
    OT
didnt get any ironing done when i got back in last night, i put a family history name in google, one id searched a tillion times BUT must have done it slightly different this time and hit the jackpot!!!, a site called rootschat came up and in the forum on their someone was discussing one of MY ancestors she must be related as she was searching for the same gt gt grandparents as me. looks like shes a decendant of one of the gt granfathers siblings. the thread i read gave me names of parents and grandparents of said gt gt so im getting back to the1841 census now and got siblings names i never previously had.

  • Morning :)

Didn't have the best day flying wise yesterday....mainly sat with my feet up and worked my way through a mountain of paperwork that I have been putting off for far too long.

On the bright side I did get my hospital bag packed :T just got a couple of things left to put in once they are washed and dried.

I have to nip into town today while I have the car, so not sure how much I will get done in the house but will aim to get the livingroom in order and at least make a start on the bedroom.

I think I can see a few HHC in my near future ;)

Better make a start, speak later

    Morning all

Went to running club last night and managed to run my first 10k in 11 months. Needless to say I was exhausted when I got home!

Put both WM & DW on before I went to bed (not very MSE but sometimes you just have to get on).

Got up early and have pegged washing on indoor line, emptied DW and sorted out the cats.

Have a great day all, I'm off to the paid stuff.

    Morning all

I'm in the middle of sorting the worst kitchen drawer, 3/4 there. Making a cuppa then up to the shower. I need to take DS3 to get cricket stuff this morning but I'll check out DS2's old bag first in case there is anything in here of use.

I was playing fill the neighbours wheelie bins with my excess garden waste once their bins were out last night so no trip to the dump needed right now.

    Good morning ladies.

I was awake early again so did an hours ironing before doing a bit of online shopping.

I'm working today. Things are still a bit tricky but I don't think my job is on the line.

The weather girl intimated that the temperatures could reach the low 20's by the weekend. I'm not convinced but I'm going to dig out the put away summer clothes to see what still fits.
