No, you have to pay an upfront fee before you can list on Alibaba, certainly as a buisness/merchant seller.
I mentioned instant payment as they make you wait until the buyer has confirmed receipt. Amazon only pay every two weeks. Ebay sellers receive payments instantly.
I wasn't making a comment on how good or bad any of those were, just a general point, so no idea what else you're wittering on about..0 -

Have you sold anything?Brooker_Dave wrote: »I didn't have to, no fees of any sort other than upgrades to gold seller status, what ever that is.
It looks as though to be approved and to sell at a decent level you have to pay an upfront fee. I realise there's Communism in China but I doubt they do it all for free..0 -

You've actually quoted in a previous post that sellers pay for verification. Presumably there are payment fees too, but doesn't sound like you've sold anything so you may not know.Brooker_Dave wrote: »People email you, it's not like ebay, anyone can sell, for free..0 -

You can pay to be a gold seller, what ever that is, but other than that they don't seem to charge any fees.
It's not like ebay, you don't sell things as such, you get enquires that lead to sales, it's generated a few of those, this is alibaba, rather than aliexpress or taobao."Love you Dave Brooker! x"
