Oh no, I was going to sort this out this evening
Just out of interest, what can you send for ID purposes if you do not have a passport or photo driving licence, neither of which I have, nor does my OH?
Like other banks/building societies, Leeds BS will first try to verify your identity electronically. If successful (mine was ) they won't ask for anything further. ) they won't ask for anything further.
 If not:

You might be right though it's too early to give up hope. The way I read the T&Cs they don't say you cannot transfer after they stopped taking new applications. It just says "18. .......but you may transfer in previous years' subscriptions whilst the issue remains open for further investment". Given that people might want to pay in their £5,760 throughout the year, I assume "the issue remains open for further investment" for the rest of the tax year. Though I might find I am too optimistic, lol.
I'd be returning my paperwork if I hadn't already done so - - keeping all my options open for now.
I phoned the Leeds on Saturday and they clarified that after the isa closes to new investors which it already has now the ONLY further investment allowed is up to the max subscription for this isa year and that NO transfers in would be allowed that weren't already set up whilst it was open which was two days. That's why I passed on opening it!:cool:0

Received a letter from Leeds Building Society today, dated 15/04/2013, thanking me for my recent request to transfer ISA funds into the society and that they had requested the transfer of funds. So just have to see what happens in September 2013 about other transfers."Look after your pennies and your pounds will look after themselves"0
