Hi Gingham Ribbon
I've been making notes of recipes I like over the weekend from your threads - got one lined up for tomorrow.
One question - re the Cauldron sausages - I've tried them before and like them - but am concerned about tofu being part of them (ie an ingredient that has soya beans in it). Reason - as I gather these days one cant eat ANYTHING with soya in unless there is a written guarantee on the pack that it is GM-free. Apparently soya is NEVER GM-free these days unless its organic - as the soya crop is so polluted one way and another with GM ingredients.
(And the - expletive deleted - GM merchants .. Monsanto and their ilk... are apparently lined up at the door waiting for another "go" at growing Frankenfoods in Britain now! Thought we'd seen them off last time.)
Do you know if Cauldron sausages are "safe" to eat?0 -
I've had a look at the product information from the earlier link and it says GM free on it so I think it's fine.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0

And I made Ginghams sausage casserole and he liked it.
He pretended he knew they weren't 'real' sausages after I told him but thats because he's NEVER wrong:rolleyes:

Hello
I have ben browsin through this thread for the past few days, noting down recipies and wandered if you were going to do the same this year gingham?0 -
Thanks. No, sorry. I have no plans to do another this year.
I have a 4 year old who doesn't like spicy food, a 1 year old who is the fussiest eater I've ever encountered and a husband who has lost most of his sense of taste after a virus and is now craving meat. I'm finding it very difficult to keep everyone happy so once everyone is on track without me making lots of different things to keep everyone happy then I'll let y'all see my meal plans again!May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0 -
In post 28 you mentioned 'quick blender carrot cake' as a snack
Could you post the recipe or link please GR, thanks in advance0 -
It was orange cake. Very delicious. It was one from here I think. I'll have a look for the link. I made 2 but really the food processor didn't like having that much in it. I posted a picture too I think.May all your dots fall silently to the ground.0
