Ive been recieving esa support group since 2013 im on high rate care n high rate mobility dla i had a form to fill in over severe disabled premium as ive never heard of it until friday my partner gets high rate pip for care so im not sure if i will get sdp can someone help me plz
  • Are you receiving Income Related ESA or Contributions Based ESA? If it's Income Related it should be a couples claim, if it's Contributions based it should be a single claim.

    Is your partner working?

Are you living with anyone other than your partner?

If you receive IR-ESA and both you and your partner receive either Medium or High rate DLA Care, or either PIP Care rate then you should be eligible, so long as you don't live with anyone else.

So, are you receiving IR ESA or Conts ESA?

(And you will get better replies if you start your own thread instead of tagging on to the end of an old thread!)
