Finally got a response from T-Mobile. Needless to say it is no help at all and a week late.

Aiutami,
I had that same response on 16th April after I had sent my first communication on the 11th. They are trying to drag it out hoping people lose interest0 -
Has anybody paid a fee to terminate their contract and started to take the case to court via the small claims court rather than wait to see what happens with the CISAS.
i'm out of contact in early September and are very tempted to go down this route, although i only pay around £11 a month they insist i pay them over £60 to terminate my account as i should be paying £21 a month and get a discount.
they even base the RPI rise in payments . on the full price before the discount !!!!!!!0 -
Why would you pay the termination fee and then take them to court to get it back?
Surely if you believe that there should not be a fee, you should not pay it and make them take you to court?0 -

They won't, they'll trash your credit file, enter a default and then sell the debt to a DCA.====0 -
If you don't terminate your contract you won't get a PAC code to enable you to port you number to your new network.0
