wahoooooooooo won my London Underground chart for about £8 on ebay (saved myself a couple of quid). It's coming from America - anyone know roughly how long the post takes???loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:0

Thanks for the drinks offer but think I'll join Chicky in the Diet Coke - head wont allow wine at the moment. Never mind.
Agree - I think it may have been PAP that was stitching the London scene.
My highlight of tomorrow is taking my Dad (who has now been living with me 4 weeks) to a funeral. At least he feels up to going which is progress. I think we just need some good weather and things will pick up. If it had been about 10 degrees warmer today it would have been lovely.
Here's the photo of the Leopard - as it was shown on ebay.

Off to bed now. Hopefully if my sewing machine arrives in the morning I will do some sewing if not I'll try to get a bit more of the dreaded turtle done.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Chicky - the last chart I had from America took about a week so not too bad. Glad you've got what you wanted.
See you all tomorrow.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Hello, shiny new thread!
Sorry I haven't been about. Haven't been stitching either.....
Dad fell over two weeks ago and broke his hip and I am currently living with the parents to help out. Luckily I have this week off work as leave, but I am thinking I may have to get some more time off
Mum and I are getting about 6 hours sleep in every 24 and taking it in turns to cover night shifts. If you've seen that new "All About Eyes" Clinique advert - I'm telling you, there isn't enough of the stuff to sort my eyes out.....:rotfl:
Hopefully I'll get home soon but that won't be until I'm sure they can both cope.0 -
Thank you for the new thread Chicky. I love the title0

Hello Girls
Think I will settle down in this corner and do some stitching (if I didn't have work to go to).
Thanks for new thread Chicky. And thank you everyone else for all your kindness and support in the last thread.
Tea, coffee, muffins, cakes, all round I think.
Kind wishes to all

Morning all. We have sunshine here this morning so at least its not going to be raining as well as cold at the funeral.
Mags - sorry to here about your dad, hope things start to improve shortly. As we are close, geographically, maybe we should introduce our dads and they could be ill together. Joking aside I do feel for you, think I'm through the worst now.
Take care everyone. Chicky, forgot to say thanks last night in the excitment of the new thread, I like the title its soooooooo true.Cross Stitch Cafe Member #59 :j

Hi to all
Love the new thread. QUestion - what is the easiest way to add pics to posts? Not on Flickr - usually use photobucket but seems a bit of a faff.

Only just seen the new thread - thanks Mrs MP So I guess I missed out on the cakes etc. I've got a pack of Rowntrees Very Berry Jellies I could pass round
Love the new title chicky And I hope your head is ok today
I posted this message on the old thread so have cut and pasted it here
RuthI love Sew it All - they haven't been at a show I've attended recently but I have bought from their website. They used to do special offers at shows of 10 assorted pieces of fabric for £x and I always used to come home with one of their bright yellow bags.
Black Sheep usually have some good bargains if you like xs kits (and they will have loads of wool if you are a knitter)
I agree about Craft Lines although they usually have some reduced items on the stall and I have found the occasional gem.
Abakhan are great for patchwork and dressmaking fabric (and sell loads of wool but as I rarely knit I can't comment on prices or quality). Sew Enchanting also have beautiful quilting fabric.
But overall there isn't a lot to inspire a dedicated cross stitcher so I think you may have lots of pennies to spend at the fudge stall
Looking forward to seeing what you do buy - have a great day.
Maria and Ailsb I feel your pain - reverse stitching is so disheartening and takes so long. The Leopard seems like a real bargain
Mags Hope your Dad improves soon
I watched the Sewing Bee last night and enjoyed it. Will probably watch again next week though it wouldn't be on my "must see" list so far. Interesting mix of contestants though.0
