In the report of any posts that offend mention if you think there is a pattern.
Fwiw, I do think some compassion is probably due in situations like these. People behaving in such away must be in some sort of pain or need. The target in this case appears to have been extremely gracious, which is remarkably good of her.0 -

Decent moderation has been a problem since I joined and is one of the reasons I stopped frequenting the benefits forum.
Basically Martin apparently wanted a softly softly approach rather then too police the forum consistently in order to promote rather then stifle a community feel.
Then he went and sold the website to the highest bidder confirming that what he really wanted was not to have to pay anyone to do the job properly and make a profit off the hard work of the voluntary forum team who give there time for free.
My respect for him has personally sunk to the level that you can flush a cockroach down a toilet, not that he'd care since his no doubt loving it up with his new riches.0 -
At least we know who the poster was that started the thread with a new ae

Which thread? Who? Come on! Gossip! Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway... :huh:0 -
From what I can see, there is one side of this debate saying we should all be faithful to each other in our relationships and live happily ever after - something imho 90% of the people who initiated their divorces are not going to agree with, regardless of whether the reason was they had an affair and preferred their new partner to their husband/wife, - and another poster whose buttons have been well and truly pushed.
While I don't think much of the way the other poster expresses him/herself, and don't see the need to be so rude and personal, I can understand his/her point of view.0
