Not happened so far in my local store. :(
I even took my cool bag down the town with me - hoping. :rotfl:

Sorry you were disappointed, would it be worth an email do you think, telling them its available at Telford Town Centre and ask why its not available in your area.

    :j to Hollie in bloom.

Still been living from the pantry/freezer so all NSD's.

I will probably need to buy some more milk before next Friday but fingers crossed I will come in on budget, if not slightly under.

Money is really tight at the moment, had to return from holiday early as have car trouble. Hubby is taking car to mechanic tomorrow so will have a better idea of costs then.

Off to read some more of the earlier posts.

Had a delicious meal last night of pan fried fillet steak with a mushroom, onion, garlic, white wine, cream and mustard sauce and roast butternut squash, courgette, potatoes and some garden peas.... then it hit me - there's a reason why I am SOOOO over the GC budget this month!!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

We need some milk and will need some fresh stuff for next week. We have guests staying next weekend and will do a BBQ so that will be another biggish shop (hopefully using £5 Ald1 voucher that is due next week).:o

oh well, onwards and upwards for July I guess.

I wouldnt mind being over for such a fab meal, Becs I dont think we can do Fab and Frugal at the sametime and hopefully the Aldi vouher will redress the damage .

Just wondered as you say you are limited in what you can carry have you considered a wheeled trolly.I have a big six wheeled and would be lost without it, goes on and off buses a treat and can carry loads.

Good idea, I would definitely use one. My problem is that I have to bring my 2 year old with me, so I can load up the buggy, which helps, but part of the problem is carrying the stuff round the shops with basket in one hand and buggy in the other! I'm hoping it will be easier when I'm on maternity leave in October because I'll be able to go when eldest is in nursery, strap youngest to me and load up the buggy with the basket/bags. Till that one grows and scuppers it all again. :rotfl:

    Hi everyone.
Did a small shop yesterday which will hopefully do us until pay day. Doubled up on Oranges and Kiwi fruit before super 6 changed and also got washing up liquid, cheese, bread, milk, sausages, eggs, salad bag, sparkling water, squash, frozen peppers, sweetcorn, apples, bananas and onions. Total spent was £14.48.
We might need a few fresh bits between now and next week but it looks like we will be under budget:j

My Nan always told me what goes around comes around, i.e. do something nice or Bad and it comes back to you Never really thought this worked out but HEY the neighbour I took the 50p grapes and strawberrys last week has just knocked my door and asked if I can use a smartprice beef joint, almost 2 kg for 2.00.

Actually I cant, am struggling to use up meat in freezers as it is, but I know someone that can, My DIL is going to be delighted tommorow.
