Hi everyone
I have been doing ok so far this month. However, received a text from DD who is travelling in Oz at the moment asking if I can send her some sweets. She is desperate for a certain make of chocolate caramel and jelly babies. She says they just don't have/taste the same as at home.
Went into C**p yesterday and they had the chocolate and JB's on special, :T. I also bought some other stuff. I looked up on the customs website as Oz rules are very strict. Sadly, they will allow confectionary into the country, so I will have to send it and not eat it myself
My worry is how much is the parcel going to cost to send  Still she is worth itMiss her very much, she has been away for 7 months and not due back until next year, although I am going over there in December - Yay!!
Sorry I haven't got time to read all the posts, this is a very popular thread. Have a good day everyone!0 -
Cold dull morning here so not sure what I will do today. My back is playing up think I did too much in the garden yesterday. though pleased I got it done as its bee very neglected
I am loving the slimming world recipes though to be honest I dont think I am going to lose weight as seem to hve eaten a lot, craving crusty bread and butter though so think I hd better stay in today as I am sure if I smell it I will not be able to resist
Stick to it Meg, you will. I lost two stone doing it. Have put half back on though due to not being strict;so now another one and a half to lose. If you are stuck for inspiration, i have the Taste of Asia book which is fab for new ideas.
DD's after school club been cancelled, so i am miffed; because i probably won't have the opportunity now to grab that gammon from BM or milk from A*da (which is cheaper than C*-*p and you get a smidge more) as it will be sat for two hours. Will just have to see if i can grab myself some more leggings; and have to inquire about a bed for eldest DD as hers wouldn't go up the stairs when we got here, so had to get rid; now it's been confirmed she's coming back to live she has got no bed to sleep on! Thankfully none of that will be out of the grocery challenge

Spent 14.49 on bits for the week, loo rolls, bread, milk etc, leaving me with a tender for my meat and green grocers shop tommorrow, should be doable! Rethinking my shopping strategy - we were getting lifts with a very kind friend to the supermarket, which have now stopped. Was going to be getting fresh meat and veg from in town and buying 'dry' bits and bobs in co-op to save a trip, but as I'm limited on what I can carry, think I might do one trip to town for the fresh and then another to the big supermarket nearer us for basics items and (hopefully) yellow stickers.
It's in it's teething phase, but I think we're getting there.

Hi all,
Just spent £50.71 in Ts of which £30 exactly was items for 2nd purse (coffee refills and dog food, both on offer). Also paid 2nd purse back for items used this week which included me starting on a 96 wash Arial liquid from co$tco. Charged myself £12 but this bottle will last about 4 months.
Got some rtc Finest meatballs, crumpets and paninis for the freezer.
Only have £41.56 to last until Friday next week  Mustn't lose focus!!!

Just wondered as you say you are limited in what you can carry have you considered a wheeled trolly.I have a big six wheeled and would be lost without it, goes on and off buses a treat and can carry loads.Slimming World at target0 -
