Spends of £3.50 in Mr T on apples and choc chip brioche for DD. Realised after paying that i could take advantage of my Bzzz agent voucher whilst instore. So went back and purchased some Yum Buttery and Yum soft cheese. The spread was on offer, two for £2 and the cheese had 70p off; so coupled with a coupon for a free tub of spread plus 50p off (used against the second tub) and a £1 off the cheese, the grand total came to 5p :D for the Yum products.

Also went back in B and M and got more Baked Stars for 69p, and some water as i was melting in the heat ...so 89p. I also spotted some gammon that i might go back and get tomorrow to do risotto (1.99 for a big pack of cooking gammon). I would have got it today but i wasnt sure how it would sit for two hours. DD is at after school club tomorrow, so have time to go before i get on the bus home, instead of having to go before the course.

have spent most of the day in the garden and am now shattered, might go to co-op tomorrow to see if I can get the 800gm strawberrys for 2.00

looking at my plants I think it is going to be a good year ofr berrys, if we get the sun to ripen that is. Raspberry canes are loaded

I only got round to sowing my beans today, never been so late before but its worth a go I think.

  • bought 4 tins of napolina tinned tomatoes (very posh ;) ) as they were on offer for £2 and used the quidco app to get 60p back so £1.40 and a free tin of mushy peas!. 2 loaves of bread 60p each and some fresh tiger bread for 65p to have with some homemade soup tomorrow. Also picked up some coleslaw for 50p to have with a dinner this week. So spent £4.79 but have £1.05 to come back to me via quidco!

Morning all, hope you have a great day. Managed NSD yesterday, pleased with myself as I would have hit the shop for stuff for lunch for sure if I wasn't taking part in GC, had egg and Philadelphia sandwich instead.

I'm at a little less than £20 of £180 left for 3 of us and bonkers dog until the end of June. I have just over £5 on top of that in nectar points available to spend, so inching my way through, trying my best not to blow it. Need bin bags but am making do with carriers.

Have made a small list of items needed to buy today. Determined to stick to it, I'd love to prove to myself that I can stick to an £180 budget -- even if in the back of my mind I may put it up in the future.

We have various things planned that mean we won't be around much in August so am hoping to spend minimum on groceries. Other expenses are planned for in a different budget.

This is the first month I can remember where we haven't eaten out/had fast food or a takeaway as a family, it's also good to change my mindset on that.

Waffling on as ever, will shut up now xx
