Sorry, i should have been more specific. It's an indoor market. Basically it's a building that houses several stalls and people can either rent them long term or for only a week (or how ever many weeks they want)-at least this is how it works in the one that has just opened near me.0

I've done my first mini-shop. Where I live is about a ten mile drive from Asda, Morrisons or Aldi. The local shops are Sainsbury, Booths & Co-op, none of them the cheapest. So I popped to Sainsbury to pick up stuff for packup lunches this week and also food for the next couple of days and milk, bread etc. Spent £46.
I'm wondering if I'm better off just buying every couple of days for meals or for the whole week. What works for you? Does anyone buy just what they need for a few days or does everyone plan and buy ahead?? I normally plan and buy, but then end up wasting some food or not feeling like cooking a big meal that day. And we pop in and out of supermarkets all week for 'bits' which add up.2025 - Declutter to Move House

Not been shopping yet as i still have some stuff left over. I'm wondering where everyone gets their potatoe's from? the ones i get you only get four and they're ridiculously priced and don't have far away use before date not that it matters as they only do for one nights worth of dinners.Goals (Christmas 2014 Journey Started 29th June 2014)

LarLar- do you have any farm shops near you, or markets? Where i live, there are also those people who sell potatoes, eggs and plants on the side of the road from the tractors. They taste amazing!0

Took a wander to C*-*p with DD, to find the Felix Sensations were all fish flavour which the cats don't like, so i left it and came home empty handed. It would have saved me money in the long run, but at least it's saved me money temporarily by not getting any.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Another 89p on some coleslaw to go with chicken and salad for dinner - am sure Mr Ts would have been cheaper but would have spent about a tenner knowing me! Hoping to stay away from the shops till next week now.0
