  • Sounds like you both had great nights, Sea and ISOM. I really must drag myself away from Strictly Come dancing one of these nights and go out. Not sure what I would wear however as even some of my maternity clothes are becoming a bit stretched around the midriff area! Sounds like a great place for the kids, Sea. We're always on the look out for child friendly places as we don't have an evening babysitter too often and with OH being away all week we like to do family stuff anyway at weekends. There do seem more options now than Wacky Warehouse type places which were all that was on offer when DS was small.

Sarahneedle, lightspeed can be hit and miss, sometime nothing for ages then enough surveys for a voucher all in one day. My OH tends to get more than me though; he has had more vouchers since June this year than I've had since August 2006! He got one survey worth 750 points - mine are only around 110. What is good about lightspeed though is your points are credited and available for redemption immediately. I'm like you though Sea, I'm with that many companies I don't know who I'm with or who the surveys are for. I just tend to check the points when I get a survey from them to see if I have enough for a voucher - currently waiting on 2 x £10 from valued opinions. Wish they'd hurry up as I've already planned what to get with them!

Oooh Choc - I must go and have a look at all the survey sites and see what I can cash in...now just need to remember what surveys I do! Agree about there being more options than Wacky Warehouse - which gives me a headache as soon as I walk in!
Mumzy - I live near Blackpool - there are quie a few of us in the Blackpool area I think - how about you?
ISOM = you are so lucky with the no hangover - but shame about the cold :(

Am going to have a productive day/afternoon. I intend to:
    • Go through DS's clothes and sort for wearable, charity shop and Ebay.
    • Sort the mountain of toys in the living room - put some away for car boot. Charity shop others.
    • 4 loads of washing (am way behind), wash, dry (line for a while) and put away.
    • Ironing - :( enough said!
    • File paperwork
    • Write thank you letters to family - di,dee, - sympathy card to family.
    • try to finish off Sophia's cousins christmas scarf for her doll(!!).
    • Go to Home Bargains to get yes/no dolls to finish 4 more pressies off. Not liking how these pressies are multiplying! Yes/no dolls are 49p when they retail for £5 so hope they have some!
    Hmmm...we'll see how I go!

    I know - still here! :D

Not done much for the last few weeks so motivation now back! A relief! Think the kids were ready to pack bags as the place was such a mess! At least we'll have clean clothes this week.

Guess I be gone now :D

Home Bargains is wonderful. I got lots of the yes/no dolls as well as plenty of other things - really have to get any other presents using vouchers etc as have now spent far too much! *sigh* best of intentions, eh?
