Hi Sea, I hope you have managed to have a restful day, and that you have a reasonably easy weekend. Enjoy the sunshine and remember to give yourself time to recover x

There is nothing at all at a time like this that will make you feel better, no words, no consolation, i feel for you honey, had same happen to me a few years back, even though unplanned at the time, it takes the rocks out from under your feet, turns everything you know to mush for a few days weeks and even months sometimes. Please please PM me if you need to talk. My love support and sympathy are with you.

In a baby castle, just beyond my eye,
my baby plays with angel toys that money cannot buy.
who am i to wish him back
    into this world of strife?
    no, play on my baby
    you have eternal life.

At night when all is silent
    and sleep foresakes my eyes,
I'll hear his tiny footsteps come running to my side
His little hands caress me, so tenderly and sweet
I'll breath a prayer and close my eyes and embrace him in my sleep.
Now i have a treasure that i rate above all other,
I have known true glory-I am still his mother

I found this poem to be of comfort to me during this time, I hope you don't mind me posting it, just thought it right to share it with you. Lots of love. xx

Just wanted to add my commiserations about your bad news. I had the same happen twice last year and it's not nice.

Try to take some time out to rest (not easy I know with two little ones already) and take care of yourself!

Thanks again everyone. Feeling a little better today, but I have a feeling of rage towards OH, which I'll need to keep in check I think! I think because I am carrying on as normal (ish) (because I have to as we have 2 kids) he thinks all is fine. He took yesterday off work, and I thought it would be nice and he'd help with the kids etc. Nope. Played Xbox while I made full roast dinner and then went out with the boys. I think he's just reacting in a male way?

Not much planned today. OH was meant to be doing overtime to start to save money to pay for the tv but is in bed so not going. I am going to talk to him later - I just don't think he realises what I need right now, I guess he can't read minds!

Am going to bake cakes with the kids and have a nice bath by myself (will instruct OH about this!). Not much else planned. Still reading Harry Potter.

Pania - although that poem just made me cry, it is still comforting. Thank you.

    Sea xxx

Glad your feeling ok. I think having a chat to OH might be a good idea. I think men deal with things differently.

Hope you have a good weekend x

Yes I was going to say too, you need to tell him, some men are not good at these things are they and can look at things quite matter of fact rather than realise the emotions involved.

Hope you have a good day and he understands and gives you the support you need :grouphug:
