Well went to SW and lost 4.5 lbs this week :)

My NSD didn't last as I had to pay for DD's outfit for her dancing show - £4, but was good up til then! I'm posting the things tomorrow and am going to find a card I already have for my friend rather than buy a new one. So I hope to only pay for postage tomorrow and really try to stick to essentials only after that as I've got the meal out on friday and don't want to be spending on anything else!

Well done at SW, just think of all the money you will be saving when you can wear the stuff you already have in your wardrobe, rather than having to go and buy something new that fits.

I too am a SW member.

Bah - still not made it to the PO - won't today now, as am just off to Asda. Have done a good menu plan for the week and hope to spend around £30 for the week as we've got nappies already and baby milk. I found Asda's really cheap last week and so I'll go there and Tesco's only every so often to make sure I get enough points for RAC and little bits and pieces (ie the zoo!! :) )

OH also gave me some money towards the shopping as well which is nice for once!! I'm trying to use up a few things in the freezer which will lead to more space for marathon cooking next week :D

Planning on friday to got ot the library and pay for the book I lost and also ring Love film tonight, cancel and pay for the missing DVD if OH doesn't find it by then..grrr...Then I should be a bit more straight on what will go out next month! I'm still feeling positive about what the man from CCCS said yesterday so if I get this done by the end of friday I'll feel good about that. Must remember to drop my repeat prescription into the docs too...

Anyhoo, best be off. Hoping the weather is all a little nicer than here! Rain all day and the washing was out!

    Hi :hello:

Well did my shopping for the week and wonderfully the total came to £32.54 (would have been £30 but I made a mistake with an offer - thought it was £2 not £4!). Also managed to only buy one thing not on the list - a reduced melon that is scrummy! Feeling good about that. Silly really.

Had a really bad day at work - felt so low and down I could barely get it together to teach. Thought those days had stopped but obviously wrong there!

Some good news in the post along with the depressing credit bills! I've got gcse exam marking for this year :) So that'll be a nice little amount extra, although am a bit worried about getting it all done and properly. Not done it before. It's all online, with a special pen thingy, which I have no idea about, but it'll all be taught to me/me teaching myself online! It'll be an experience if nothing else!

Anyway, plans still on for the library and lovefilm tomorrow. Going to have one last hunt for the DVD. Fingers crossed! Will get myself some nice books from the library and start going with the kids regularly again - they do enjoy it :)

So all going well with on the debt front really.

Well done on the weight loss, you done better than me this week (I put on 2 and a half!)

Looks like the money is going in the right direction. Reducing yoru DFD is fab, keep at it and you might even come in sooner than that.

    Any news on the dvd?

I also seem to find mine in the dvd player and then the envelope in a pile of stuff! If they were in cases it wouldnt be so bad!

Other than that just want to say a big fat congratulations!!!
You've been doing fab and should be so so proud of yourself!!!

Have you worked out how much further forward your DF date will be when the extra from DS's nursery fees go in? I bet that would be a real boost mentally!

hmm...not yet! So annoying - I wish they did put them in proper cases. Am going to 'tidy' the main bedroom in a mo to look for it! It's absolutely pouring down here so have been out once to musical minis but can't face going into town just yet, hoping it'll clear up soon!

Oooh yes, once the nursery fees are off the dfd will be...July 2013 :D And I have decided that I'm going to start my debt fund and build it up until I can either pay off one of the debts (recommended by the CCCS the other day) or pay off the remaining balance (so likely to take a while lol).

Right, off on a mission to find that blooming DVD!!
