i keep hankering after a wireless printer, as i get fed up of trecking my back and forth between bedroom and living room. I always end up leaving it to the minutes before i have to set off for a crop before i print them out and then i don't like them.0

ARGHHHH...
well, printer ink is firmly in the distance - the washing machine has died. Friend is coming tomorrow to check it's actually dead and then he can get us a decent reconditioned one for £80ish. He'll bring it and take away the old one and do this tomorrow. A possibilty the WM can be fixed but not holding out much hope given the noises it was making! TV and Video combi also broken completely, but that's not a necessity at all.

(((((((((((((((Sea))))))))))))))))))) its always the way, everything breaks at the same time. Hope that it can be fixed cheaply. Ours broke last summer and I spent several months carting washing to and fro from a friends house, very annoying!I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Sorry to hear about the illnesses - we've been having that here, too. OH started feeling ill about 10 days ago, with 'flu - and proper 'flu, high temp, not able to get out of bed, etc. Then our son got it (he's 2) and I have it to boot. And DS passed it on to his child carer, so she's in bed shivering as well!
Today OH had to go to court, in Oxford, a case he couldn't get rid of. So he went off, looking like death warmed up, and DS and I sat in the living room feeling tired and cross (him) and knackered (me). And a MAJOR tantrum when I took him to the GP, he didn't want to go out at all. "No Mummy! Naughty Mummy! No out!" <repeated>...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

sorry about the washer, i'm waiting for mine to die, it's making such bad noises, i was going to replace it a couple of years ago but decided to go to Oz for a few weeks (no brainer really) and i've been running it into the ground since. Got an extra couple of years out of it so can't complain. I guess i should start looking into where i can get a reconditioned one ready for when i need it.
Hope the kids start feeling better soon.0 -
neverdespairgirl - poor you! Thankfully there was always one of us that was well (ish) which always makes it easier. Hope you're all feeling a lot better now.
ISOM - the house guest we've had this week is going to buy us ink as a thank you for having him to stay (been a bit of pin really but nice to have someone around as well) as he was meant to stay for one night and ended up staying for 4. So that's nice of him and I'm looking forward to being able to print again!
No washing machine today - hopefully will get it tomorrow.
Think OH might take the kids to his mum's fr an hour or so today which would be lovely - need to run round the house and tidy and also might be able to fit in some scrapping too
