flylady.com - basically for people like me who are overwhelmed by everything!! This is a great website that tells you how to sort your house etc. It is a little overpoweringly american but once you get over this it's great! Have a look - i'm not very good at describing it!

Sort my house? Now that would be a miracle. Definately need to check that out, thanks

I love it! It's not exactly sorted my house lol but it has helped me feel much calmer and seeing that little bits do make a difference - bit like getting debt free I guess! I did buy a timer after reading the book and use it all the time now - you'll see what i mean soon :)

Thanks for the gentle reminder on flylady - I think I may need it (but not now - I'm too busy!).

I haven't had time to read your whole thread, but I'm glad things seem to be a little easier for you.

Better go - the stuff I need to do won't do itself!

    :)

Having a flylady, oooh what's the word???, revisit? here at the moment, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't! I do like the emails at the moment, although only get them on the daily digest thingy as I can't be doing with that much reminder that I need to sort the house lol!

Thanks :) Hada shockin night's sleep - OH drank too much so was very obnoxious in the night when I asked him if DS had woken up as I heard him closing his door and then what he was doing downstairs - lots of crashing etc. So I moved to DD's room to try to sleep but it was a little disturbed. Did manage to sleep a little before DS got up on the sofa but (and feel terrible about this) DD came in munching something - I asked what and she said the garlic bread????!!!!!!??? OH had bought garlic bread pizza on the way home (so safe to say he spent a small fortune last night then) and dd had seen it before I did and had a munch!! Managed a little laugh about it til got v annoyed!! Anyway, enough of the monaing, he's in bed for the forseeable future and I can get on with stuff.

    So to do today:

*Mark those blooming yr 9 assessments
*another load of washing and dry it and iron and put away!!
    *2 more flylady missions today
*attend to bushwacker eyebrows (honestly, I'll forget unless I write it down!)
*plan something exciting for hte yr 9s tomorrow, final unit on Christianity so they'll be sooo enthusiastic about that! Might do blockbusters.
    *Take photos of the lawnmower
*get a new hoover bag and hoover upstairs - getting a little too much up there now
*Prepare clothes for DS and me for tomorrow.
*Maybe write a little card to my mum thanking her for coming over yesterday - it was so lovely to see her.

I think that's it for now - will update with mroe if more come up during the day.

Sea, I asked my daughter (Yr 8) if she had any suggestions for an interesting lesson on Christianity. She looked blank, then said "give them a chocolate in the shape of God".

Well I do now have some carrot desk accessories that look rather like Pacific Island deities!

Get the Yr 9s carving carrots - would you be allowed to hand out knives, no I don't suppose so...
