    Thanks.

    Sounds good.

But really do prefer a Dell as I also need a panel.

I just wont use the TV tuner, card reader etc etc.

Most Dell offers seems to say "Last 2 days" so hopefully they will have different deals in a couple of days.

I am checking this thread every 1/2 hour so if anyone sees a good DELL 8400 deal please oblige.

    Thanks again :-)

Hello and welcome to MSE.I just want to mention that when you buy your
Dell use the link on MSE for cashback. You should be able to save 2.5% and
it will help this site stay free.(This maybe worth and extra £15 to you on this system)I am waiting for Dell to offer a 17" TFT with this system for a knock down price. Some of the free printers they offer can be a little yukky.I'll like a
good laser one.Loads of copies for the kids.Very cheap to buy.Even to replenish the ink will be cheap.Hope you find what you want.

I wish I had known about the link when I bought mine from Dell. Could you simplify how to use it for others who like me do not know how to use it.

    Regards

    Jean

AuntyJean, see the blue menu at the top of this thread, where it says "For more moneysaving see the shopping zone", the MSE links to Rpoints and Greasypalm are there. Have a read of their websites and choose which one you'd like to join (I use Greasypalm myself). Register on there and then use its special links to access online shops. When you use its links you will get the cashback added to your account and this site will also benefit. When your account reaches £30, they'll send you a cheque out (in the case of Greasypalm).

Here's the links if you can't find them:

    http://www.rpoints.com/mse (rpoints)
    http://www.myaffiliateprogram.com/u/gp/t.asp?id=1447 (greasypalm)

Joe_Millionaire, yes I believe they mean these sites.

for extra discounts. Some sites will despatch cheques earlier. Some say when you reach £15 and some say when you reach £25.Check the t &cs.

Looks as though Dell have changed their warrantee options which are less attractive than they used to be.

90 Day Collect and Return Service [subtract £94.00]
Basic Lite 1Yr NBD + 30D on-line access to Multi media training [subtract £58.75]

Now I assume that even when choosing the 90 option anything purchased is still covered by a statutory 12 month gaurantee? I suppose you just have to pay to ship it to them now?
