In Sweden where I live this is not a joke. As of 1st of January you are forced to pay TV license if you have any of the following:
- Computer
- iPad or other tablet
- Smartphone...
The TV license is around £ 150 per year and household. If you have a TV already this really does not matter. But for those who do not...0 -
Yes indeed hilarious joke but please make it about something that isn't likely to happen. People really have short memories.. don't you remember the last Labour government broadband tax? ....

The tax unveiled last year by Alistair Darling, the Chancellor, is designed to raise £175 million to fund super-fast broadband across the country.
Every house in Britain with a fixed-line phone – an estimated 23 million homes – will be charged an extra six pounds per year on their tax bill to pay for the plans.
But the Conservative Party said the tax will force more than 3.2 million households, including pensioners, to pay for a service they do not use and have no interest in signing up for.
They also said that 200,000 households, according to official figures, could be unable to afford the tax.
Shadow culture secretary Jeremy Hunt told The Sun: "Millions who don't want the net will be forced to pay, and tens of thousands will no longer be able to afford the internet.
"It isn't fair, isn't necessary and isn't acceptable."
The Treasury reportedly confirmed that there would be no exemptions for ordinary households."

It's a joke and every big business does it on 1st April, I wish they didn't but the funny bit is when people fall for them rather than the jokes themselves.
