Glass cover does not cover sunroofs on any insurance policy.

And another wrong answer ! Something I specifically checked before getting a car with panoramic moon roof.

We will pay to:
• replace or repair broken glass in the windscreen, sunroof or windows of your car, and repair any scratching to the bodywork caused by the broken glass,
as long as there has not been any other loss or damage to your car;

or
• replace the roof and rear windscreen assembly together if your car is fitted with a folding roof and it is more cost-effective than replacing the glass alone.
Claims under this section will not affect your no claim discount.

The asker of that question will be writing letters to the third party quoting that phrase and when they get laughed at will issue proceedings and lose money and time on the court case.

They would have no reason to doubt the advice they have received from a professional on a well known motoring website. It's scary stuff
