If the repairs are less than the excess then its probably not worth claiming.
Too late now though, they will need to declare it.

The car is worth £8000+ the customer will be severly out of pocket0 -
Do you know if the full £3000 excess is payable even if the repair is only £2000?
If thats the case then wouldn't it be better to cancel the claim and repair it for £2k?

It's really strange. He keeps repeating this line. I'm amazed someone hasn't pointed out the reality of the situation yet. I genuinely find his "advice" both bizarre and puzzling on the issue of right offs.0 -
