 Which is the answer he should have given.
 Last time I looked Axa and Swift Cover specifically ask whether the car is written off. Someone folowing Guru's advice with such a company runs the risk of a voided policy0

 I agree. But to be fair, the question that he was answering was:
 'Do consumers have to disclose that their vehicle has been a total loss then repaired?
 As a side issue, the voided/cancelled insurance issue is a real problem in my opinion and unfairly (in many situations) penalises mistakes to a greater extent than the mistake warrants, and potentially for ever. Something I have raised with the FCA more than once.
