Hi Sheils, will look what it is called. It's nothing posh posh its a fish and chip shop on one side and a restaurant on the see front. There are tables and chairs outside in the summer and you can sit outside and have a coffee or inside they have seating + sofas etc so nice for either. They don't just do fish and chips there are lots on the menu including scones/ice-cream etc. We just like it thats all as the f & c are lovely. Its about 7.99 for f&c&m.peas and comes with a nice pot of tea and b & b (don't get excited that bread and butter not bed and breakfast lol)

    Hi everyone :)
Our plans for the day after gym/footie was to go for picnic in the woods & park but then it started raining so we decided to go swimming centre which was 30 mins drive. When we got there they had a gala on! :o We then went to another activity centre we hadn't been before but it was going to cost too much and you had to buy a membership! We decided to go to another nearer home which we had been to before (years ago) and DD1 was now too big to go in. :o she sneaked in to play while they weren't looking! I should have stayed at home and done ironing! :D

    Katie, enjoy your party :)

Sylvia, I have been that place before to eat and it was nice :)

Enjoy your trip Sheils if I don't get in tomorrow or later ;) xx

Hope you've all had a good day :)
Big thanks to all who contribute to the forums. Be lucky everyone and be safe!

Wingo - it seems that you have had a bit of adventure today. some of the activity centres are really expensive and some even want the adults to pay too. We rather like going to Adventure Valley with the little ones (not so little now though) but again that is expensive and is about 7.50 even for the adults. Well worth going though if its a good day and take a picnic, lots to do even for the teenagers.

Just heard on the news that it is costing the tax payers 10 million pounds for Lady Thatcher's Funeral. How ridiculous when there are peeps struggling to raise their kids.

    couldn't agree more sylv,
lots of pensioners struggling who've paid thier taxes all thier lives,
families who work struggling to pay thier bills,
    bring the family up etc,
we know she was a public figure but that doesn't to me give the government the right to ask us taxpayers to pay towards her funeral, just MHO X
