Nessie does exist, of course as a Scot I must say that :rotfl:

Know what you mean about Inveraray Castle, Walwin, does look like something from Disney, very pretty, I worked in it for years.

Hope weather stays good for you Sheils, dry, bright and calm at the moment, at least the wind has dropped. I can see the Loch Lomond hills from my window and it does look a wee bit misty in that direction.

Re Maggie Thatcher funeral, I am appalled at the amount of money being spent :mad: and she had very few, if any , supporters here in Scotland and we have long memories, never forget a bad turn - the poll tax for instance. I for one will not have the TV on come Wednesday.

Firefly - just looking back at your post about the past presenters and have to agree. I am afraid we are showing our age - I am anyway. I have to admit that we do watch quite a few of the game show while we are comping. We rather like the Chase and Bradley Walsh cracks me up when he laughs and can't seem to get himself back in control.

Another week awaits, been having some weird texts from the bank about opening a new account - which we haven't - so going to see them later, hoping it's an error or an admin thing rather than identity theft , not that it would get anyone far nicking my identity.

Had a lovely day yesterday with my sone, had lunch at Zizzi - it was nice but drinks were so expensive - £2.20 for a coke & it was a 330ml bottle!!! it was cheaper in the cinema. If you get the chance to see War of the Worlds - new generation do go , it was over £40 in the theatre & £12 at the cinema (but is was a cinema de luxe) . I didn't have a clue who Marti Pellow is (although he's come up a bit in comps recently) but he was brilliant.

My little win arrived from John Frieda - it looks really handy. (Little shampoo, conditioner & Volume spray)

Fire**fly, I had to look twice at your pic as I thought it was a bird in back ground!

That's expensive for coke Hamsterfan! They are usually expensive in cinema too, I tend to take my own sweets but buy their drink!

Kids are back at school today but youngest was sick again this morning having refluxes again. I've give her the medicine again and she seems a bit better now but I needed shopping and she was sick in tesco. Hopefully she will be fine once the medicine kicks in!
No postie yet, hoping he might bring some news from my job.
