Morning,
Bucketing down here and was really windy through the night too.
Hope it will be nicer tomorrow as we want to visit Doune Castle ,
Inchmahome Priory and Loch Lomond tomorrow before going to our hotel.
Must try and get caught up a bit today.
Have a nice day everyone.

Thanks FF - tomorrow looks quite nice but Tuesday looks pretty wet so we are thinking of going to Inverary Jail and having a drive around. Have been really lucky with the weather on our travels this year so can't complain really. This trip and attraction visits are all funded by Tesco apart from the petrol!Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Ahh Inveraray, I lived there for 30 years sheils, great place for the kids to grow up in
I can recommend the Jail as being authenticately represented as I did the research for it from the original documents (only the Jail part, the Courtroom stuff was done by someone in Edinburgh)
Not that the researchers are named anywhere mindbut loved doing it and got paid rather well
Hope the weather improves as Argyll looks much better when the sun shines :rotfl:0 -
I am ashamed to say I haven't visited much of Scotland above the central belt elle.
Always went to places with more stuff for the kids to do or went abroad. DH used to holiday in the Highlands before he came to live here though.

Good morning all, not many peeps in here today yet, must be having a late sleep.
Its been raining during the night but I think the sun is trying to come out although very windy.
The daffs in the garden are at last beginning to open
Its so sad that they are binning lots of plants because of the weather and peeps not going to the garden centres.
Firefly - that toast looks as if its asking me to eat it, its almost jumping off the plate! Enjoy your haddock, we love it and fish is so healthy.
Sheils - hope the weather is nice for you while you are away it makes it so much nicer (makes better pictures as well) we always love seeing your pics.
Must get on an get tidied up as we are probably off to Hartlepool tomorrow to that lovely fish and chip restaurant along the sea front. Will take the dogs as well as they love there. If it rains we will probably just have a meal locally though.
