That sounds like a nice place Sylvia we have one ten mins drive away where the kids can venture out, it has an assault course, park, nature reserve and lots of open space too but I think they also now charge for parking. Jasper and the kids love it there

Nothing in post today only junk! Just waiting for washing to finish then gonna pop to mums in a bit while the big yellow thing is shining in sky!

Wingo - I'd love to take the credit for looking after the lambs but I just go into the lambing shed and ooh and aah a lot and have lots of cuddles with them I did actually deliver one a couple of years ago when the ewe was in distress as the lamb was stuck and I couldn't get hold of the farmer. It was absolutely amazing but petrifying at the same time in case I did something wrong. I blubbed when it was safely born and have started blubbing again now thinking of it
It's lovely living here but I do still find it difficult when they get big enough to be sent to market. I always make myself scarce as it's so sad to see them in the trailer ready to go

I hope you get your patio doors sorted out without too much trouble. What a pain

He loves it. I sometimes want to scream at all the wires and random screws, motherboards, graphics cards etc that can get left lying around the place! :rotfl:

He's an engineer, so he's handy around most electrical things. Kept our old washing machine going for just over 10 years before it became irreparable, bless him.

Good afternoon all. I hope the weather is better where you are. Raining here now. Was dryer earlier, but the parents and I were busy finally planting the potatoes and some other gardening bits and bobs, now the threat of frost is (mostly) over. Yay! I've had some seedling casualties over the last few weeks.

Been busy in here today! We have been out for a walk and visited my parents too. Really quite warm and sunny here today but think the rain is coming later.
Well done elle. I used to get loads of wins from the dailies but they seem to have dried up this year. Been having one of my worst months for wins for a long time but never mind at least we have lots of breaks booked and all at good prices.

I was brought up on farms walwin so know how hard it is when you get attached to the animals.

Must be great having an OH who is so useful euro. Mine is completely useless at most things apart from driving! He is lovely though and spoils me rotten.

Have been to Chester le Street but not the park Sylvia.

Hope everyone is getting all The Times entries in - I have missed one so far as I was out.

He's a right messy one though! lol And only seems capable of using the microwave in the kitchen. :rotfl:He is lovely though.


I really want to win something from these boards. I live in hope of a WEM/WTC/Tweet etc. The postman didn't bring me anything either. Not even junk mail. Pfffttttt!

:hello: Everyone,

I am still doing well,counting down the hours until I leave Hospital.I will be doing some packing tomorrow I think or on Monday Morning itself.I am having a relaxing evening tonight,watching Britains Got Talent on ITV1 and also Casualty on BBC1

Time is really flying by,When I leave hospital on Monday I will be going to my parents for 2 days to recouperate and then to my flat afterwards
